Heya! So there are a million different ways to get Crystal Sand, but only one way to get Umbrite: Esoterics.
Is there a way to, with all the FATE grinding out there these days, let Atmas and Alexandrite be tradeable for Umbrite? Thanks!

1 Umbrite 12 Atma
What is wrong with you?
Atma needs to be buried in the dirt and sealed away with the two biggest rocks we can find and jp charm scrolls.
Alexandrite, less so, but atma? nonononono.
Nonono, you know what the worst idea is? Bottlenecking a vital component of a Relic step behind Eso Farming. IMO, farming a single dungeon ad infinitum is worse than FATE grinding.
People have been farming for Yo-Kai weapons and getting a ton of Atmas they never use, so as an OPTION (read that word with me, O-P-T-I-O-N), have Atmas be a CHOICE (read that word with me, C-H-O-I-C-E) for turning in for Umbrites rather than straight Eso Farming until you die.
I'm confused, atma/alex only drops if you have a 2.0 relic equipped right?
hmm Esoterics, farming a single dungeon? no
Hunts give Esoterics
Maps give Esoterics
daily roulettes give Esoterics
single dungeon? clearly you're doing something wrong...

Well, to re-use the argument thrown in the face of everyone who has the slightest complaint about a relic step or anything else time consuming: "Well, you don't have to do it." More options isn't a bad thing. I am so sick of FATEs that I probably wouldn't touch them for umbrite, but maybe someone else would like that option. Granted, it'd have to be as time efficient than doing two esochemical for an umbrite, or it's not really an option at all.
There were lots of complaints about the crystals for the first step of 3.x relic despite how hated atmas were, and now we have a ridiculously grindy crossover event using fates again. I don't think FATE grinds are going anywhere.
