Hello, My suggestion is simple, please disable the ability to buy a house for people who already own a house in their accounts, at least until a week after the patch launches so that they cannot buy on their alts, even if they have the money.
My reason for this is because there are a lot of people who have been talking about wanting to buy a house on their alt for the sole purpose of re-selling it for an outrageous price.
This is extremely unfair for those of us who intend to buy and use the new houses at 3.3
Implementing a temporary ban on alts would also give people and FCs who do not yet own a house, a chance to do so without grief.

On the upside if anyone does try it you can simply report them and let the GMs handle it. However I agree, I think they need to check the account and anyone who has at least 1 must wait to buy in the new areas so those without still have a chance, but with the number of people wanting a home I feel that many will still go without.

I admit the only reason I would love a house is for gardening, so I can cross-breed and get the items to dye my chocobo. Though I do have a lot of alts.... I guess the devs just didn't expect people to make alts in this game. I know you don't HAVE to but for some people, like myself, alts just seem natural for many reason. For me it boils down to habit and not being able to settle for just one appearance. And I'm not going to spend a ton of money on fantasias to change my appearance constantly. :P
Anyway, back to the topic. I think the devs should consider the merits of a housing overhaul (or revamp?) to make houses accessible by alts on the same account/same server, and limit personal houses to one per account/per server. But that's just my opinion. A GAME opinion! -
