So the DF still penalized me for a stupid reason because of the system.
I honestly don't remember far back enough how the DF system was working when you quit out of a duty months ago, but I think it still gave you a 30 minute penalty if you were the first one to quit out of the full party, but there wouldn't be any strikes.
So now we have 3 strikes before you could get locked out for 30 minutes for each decline of a DF prompt as corrected to me by RiceisNice, on top of the usual 30 minute penalty for being the first one to leave.
So I am doing T7 with one friend, we go in, get 6 other people. The runs are going terribly, after several wipes, one person leaves and there is now 7 people in the Duty. (They should have gotten the 30 minute penalty and no one else if everyone else also subsequently leaves.)
I realize it isn't going to work, so I walk out the front door and leave. Soon as I go to sign up again having switched Jobs, I see I have a 30 minute penalty for quitting, when someone else already did it before me.
Excuse me for not being telepathic and knowing that someone was going to join at the exact same damn time as I leave Duty Finder, this has happened before the Strike system was in place and crap like this still happens.
I don't deserve a 30 minute ban for quitting if I'm not the first one to do so, someone else already left and it was a 7-man party, and there's no way in hell I can predict if someone is immediately going to refill the empty spot, thereby giving me a penalty then as well just as soon as I go to leave.
Fix this SE, it's bull****.
