BCoB and Allagan speculation?

Lore or Dungeon subforum? Dunno where this falls to exactly
Trekking through 1-5 it's apparent that most if not all of the architecture in BCoB is Allagan (most apparent in T2-4)

Looking forward I recalled the screenshots of 6-9 and while the architecture is still Allagan, it's a different design, so that got me thinking, could the Allagan have various races and cultures under it? Like how we have Hyur, Lalafell, Roegadyn, etc., could they have races of similar style if not the same races? Pretty sure our current 5 races wouldn't be living in the same style of housing/building if living on their own separate from each other (e.g. Greek architecture is completely different from Egyptian since we're talking History)

Another thing I thought about is how T5 is basically Bahamut's Right hand, so could T9 be his left hand? or if not another appendage that would function as a battlefield? (Tail maybe? Shoulder? a spine on his Vertebrae?). If we are fighting on his left hand, could the third leg of Coil be Bahamut's head/heart and the final battle of BCoB?

1."Empire" = defeated nation's culture are usually absorbed and added to the main culture of the said Empire.
2. As for races, imma sure they have lots of races as the Nym which is not clear yet if they're a kingdom or empire or federation or confederacy or protectorate can be seen have Roe, Lala and Hyur population in their prime
3. But since we don't know how large the Allagan Empire's territory in their prime not to mention we also don't even have Hydaellyn's world map as a whole aka we don't know how many different sentient races living on the planet. (At least we know Los Noscea and Ala Mhigo were included in their territory, and probably expanded outwards Eorzea continent to the mainland as they waged war with the nation of Mercyndia as described on the summoner's quest which was said located on the south of the main continent (which might be the Garlean Empire mainland continent or ANOTHER continent?). Like i said, its all vague and blurry here

This mirrors a discussion a friend and I are having on our FC boards. The lore of Allag indicates that it (the Empire) was for all intents and purposes world-wide. In all likelihood it included, as I think Empressia was alluding to, all the various races.

I however, tend to believe that the Allagans proper (that is the Allag people) may have been a very different race. I'll show you my argument I gave my friend:

About the Allagans. I've written a lot in my lore notebook today and I've noticed a few things.

First let me hit some very important points:

• According to the Lore, an otherwise unknown group called, "The Wandering Tribes," were the first to occupy Eorzea
  
• It is the "warring," of these "Wandering Tribes," that led to the gods leaving the land in the first age.
  
• Over 5000 years ago the Allagan Civilization began
  
• Of the five modern civilized races, Elezen have the longest history
  
• The only two races that we can positively trace the timeline of are Miqo'te and Hyur - who were the latest transplants
  
• Somewhere between 4000 and 1500 years ago the Miqo'te began to migrate to Eorzea
  
• Nael Van Darnus is implied to be descended from those who had the last knowledge of the Allagan Empire

Are Allagans Elezen?

Consider a couple of things:

Upon first venturing into the tower's outer perimeter, the Labyrinth of the Ancients, adventurers encountered Acheron, who is described as a sentry heavily altered by Allagan technology. He, of the shimmering scimitar, was a long dead hero of the Allagan revolution.

Then, comes another hero/general of Allag altered by their technology and allowed to extend beyond the grave (the green guy in the lower right corner just up from Acheron):

Seriously, I have Elezen pride, but these guys look like Roegadyn/Hyur hybrids who got hit with an enlarging ray. I don't think these guys are any of the five civilized races.

This would make sense, seeing as how the Gigas just outside the Crystal Tower seem to revere it as something holy. If they are the descendants of the Allagans they may not realize it, but they may still understand that they have a connection with the Crystal Tower somehow.

Though the surviving Allagan's size and features may also just be a result of whatever technology is keeping them going.

I really like the gigaskin theory. It makes sense, it explains their love for Allagan locales, and even a "devolved" look makes sense. I have a big problem though. Looked around for some examples of Acheron:

Hes not just giant big, or filled up with Allagan roids big, he is enormous. Compare the gigas of Eorzea:

The only thing I've got to work with is the moogles (their bards in particular) are apparently privy to a magic that enlarges their team mates to well beyond normal size for a period of time, Maxi-moogle, I believe.

I'm not sure if we can assume their height in game is what their height in lore is. Often times in MMOs they need to make the bosses exceptionally big so that everyone in a raid can see and easily target them, no matter what race they might be. Which I believe is exactly what happened in the cases you've mentioned, if the moogles we fight along with Good King Moggle were normal sized it would be very difficult to keep track of them and tell them apart.

I'd chock up size due to large of amount of aether. Aether is power. Power = Larger Size. They get filled with Aether. BOOM they go huge. Makes sense to why boss mobs are always bigger than their normal ones. They ate more aether. Its also kind of a JRPG/Anime trope.

lol, I was actually being serious about that. Not sure about the 2.0 fight as I've not seen it there, but in the 1.0 GKMM fight the Bard Puksi Piko the Shaggysong had the ability Maxi-moogle.

Went and checked it out: Abilities: Maximoogle - Single cast on moogle that increases its size and make it immune to all attacks. The moogle will then move slowly towards the player with highest Bard hate, dealing high damage on touch; The King only cast the spell on himself and chooses a random target for the attack. In 1.0 I remember the order was to run if a moogle swelled up with Maximoogle.
