Titan is hard because your camera isn't zoomed out, not because of server-side delays

This made me lol and facepalm.

Granted, I don't have a lot of problem with Titan personally, but I won't use my ability to adapt to a terrible situation to try to justify that situation.

How long are they going to put their head in the sand about the delay issue and not acknowledge it exists?

The "delay issue" is a problem with ISPs, not the game. A number of people, including myself, dont have any lag.

Titan is hard? Remember pattern, rinse and repeat.

i had lag issues when i had a bad PC - got a new one..all my lag issues went away. The thing is, OP, "lag issues is SE fault!" isn't always accurate, everyone should suffer from lag issues if it's purely SE's fault - It's been reported ISPs handle XIV data stream as P2P which a lot throttles to try to deter torrenting. The one thing a lot of people seemingly refuse to do is check with their ISP about throttling which can and will cause lag to happen in this game.

Titan is easy if you have your movement option set to legacy.

0.3 delay wont make Titan unbeatable, but camera zooming defintely will. By viewing all Titan encounter videos on youtube, it is clearly that everyone of these tubers set their camera zoomout at max range.

Real men use first person view while fighting Titan.

this cannot be stated enough. It's unfortunate that "Standard" mode is the default since it gives the player a significant handicap when it comes to movement.

I actually have been grumbling about this for a while now. Why cant we zoom out as much as we used to? Half the time in dungeons I'm fighting with the camera to see everything I need to.

I would have to agree. I haven't done Titan HM yet, but I can appreciate the sentiment. When I showed a friend of mine who is relatively new to the game the legacy controls, it was like the heavens opened up and angels started singing to him.
