I simply cant twitch fast enough?

So as am running the content, be it level 30 of 50+ i am starting to note that at this rate I might as well hang up my bow and shield and go hit rocks with a spoon. Why? Because the inability for the servers to refresh data quickly enough, i die on crap that can be dodged by standing still.
On my screen: I am out of area of effect for a full second, and i have used a skill on the out side. Yet i am dead or i get hit far to often.
My ping is 20, i do not run any applications in the back ground.... yet what i see seems to be +/- a quarter second behind.

The servers are nor refreshing, at a rate with the twitch/spasm speed SE thinks they can do.

From Titan to Coil the speed increases from fast to sprint, yet with the best internet i can pay for in my city, i can not keep up. What is it I can do to keep up.... my problem in most cases is not skill or armor. It's i die, out of area and it's causing me too much grief.

0.3 seconds to update might be slow, but it's not "stand in ALL the things!" slow.

It's something that effects everyone, but only the minority "suffer" from it. Which easily points to the fact that it's not cause of the issue.

My shining white armor and I will be over here dodging boss mechanics properly if you need me.

I haven't had any issues since the first week of launch, and I'm from the EU so my ping is way the fuck higher

I have this issue as well. See the red, move well out of the way, still get hit. I'm not a crappy player, my pings are good. I think sometimes the dungeon server is just lagging.

I'm Aussie and this fixed many other mmo's lag issues i've played, so i suggest using it for that reason..

But on the flip side it did zero to help me in FF14 its still retarded bad to dodge anything in this game, i don't at all believe its us players or our internet, its the mechanics and delay programed into FF14 that are inherently bad and until SE fixes whatever it is causing the issues, nothing our end will ever fix a thing.

I've never had any issue at all, living in the UK and playing on PS3. In Titan I have never had any lag when it comes to landslides or bomb boulders. Admittedly at prime time I do have some issues some of the time but I'm with an ISP that most would agree with is the worst in the country. The 3 millisecond delay is tiny really and blaming that is silly. Yes it's more than a lot of games but it's really not that bad.

I feel bad for you guys having to deal with this lag, and I do get lag at prime time in AK but that's to be expected in any game as there are a lot of people playing, more so than most MMO's. However I think that part of the problem lies with your ISP and not the game. Of course the game is partly responsible because that 3 millisecond delay on top of ISP issues can make a bad ISP worse. People are very quick to blame the game for such a wide issue like the internet.

You need to understand, it has nothing to do with when the red appears and disappears, the cast bar is the only thing that matters. Many things require you to be out of the red well before the animation for the attack starts.

On the other hand, you can get a jump on your attacks if you know when the cast bar ends. For Garuda blasts and the room aoe on the last boss of AK, for example, I am out of hiding and back to work before the animation starts, it looks like I eat it. I probably give teammates in pugs a heart attack every time I do this.

The problem is exactly this. There is cast time, ground warning, and cast animation but only the cast time is important. The issue is from the first two lining up poorly from time to time. Titans weight of the earth loves to hit me... rather odd since I am a person who has been dealing with those exact type of mechanics in WoW for the last few years and never had a problem.

The worst is when everyone in the group can see you are clear of something with plenty of time left but you still get hit with it...
