When I start seeing repeating mechanics, you know I'll raise an eyebrow unless people are new and constantly dying to stupid. While I did not even need the forbidden calculator to realize something fishy was going on, I wanted to double check and make sure I wasn't missing something important and suggest something to the dps to help improve their dps.
I will point this out, do not underestimate healer dps and how much it can actually contribute. The fact still stands that my party was forced to carry someone who did not contribute to the dps pool. Saying a healer can do 0% dps and still clear Ultima weapon normal means the rest of the party has to work even harder to make up for the missing damage.
Yes, as a player who mostly plays whm and levels and learns the other jobs to know their ins and outs, you bet your buckaroos I will absolutely notice when something is taking far longer to die, whether it be from the dungeon timer, hp bars remaining in packs, or having to look at the thing and make sure I'm not going crazy for some reason.
If you had a healer that did that in your Ultima weapon group and you were in my boots, I'd safely say that you'd feel the frustration I felt at having to work harder to clear a fight.
