why DPS should do mechanics properly and tanks hit mitigation?
After all they have a healbot... oups a healer to heal them.... And if they die, nope it's not their fault, it's because the healer didn't healed properly.

Okay so you got a bad healer, literally what relevance does this have to healers being bad to play in a general sense
For every bad healer there is also a bad DPS and a bad tank
Do you go onto BLM suggestion forums and go “acshooly sweaty I got a BLM that stood in AOE’s yesterday so BLM should be made into SMN 2.0 so that these terrible BLM players stop dying”
If you are the healer then come right out and say it because you’ll get a far more positive response from people on here if your point is “hey guys I see you are discussing the idea of making healing harder and more in depth but I personally believe the current level of healing is enough because it plays to my current skill level. If the level of healing is increased I may struggle to heal effectively”
That’s a perfectly valid stance and one I can totally see
Beating around the bush with a vague story of a poor healer ruining your roulette ironically made your point weaker than just coming out and saying you are content with the current level of healing
I will say it again : Stop being aggresive please.
And : don't put words in my mouth please....
Now i will be also agrresive : boy, even if my english is not good, try to use your brain a little before attacking people.
Asking you why you chose to write a vague story about a healer who wasn’t good enough rather than saying you struggle with current healing is not being aggressive, it just adds nothing your point
The former can be dismissed as a pointless anecdote (which is exactly what I did, that first response was agressive and I’ll apologise for that) the second is a representation of your own experience which you can use to discuss with others and help them understand your stance
Nobody is going to sit here and call you garbage for struggling, people will offer you advice or explain why their particular stance wouldn’t exclude you, it’s how discussion is generated
Nobody is saying healer players are saints. Nobody is saying no healers are ever bad. What we are saying is that the rest of them shouldn't be punished for those people. You could give some players a button saying "instant heal for 100000 potency" and they would still fail to cast it.
HOWEVER the same thing goes for every DPS and every tank. I could tell you about all the Paladins I've run into who only use their single target abilities in dungeons. Or the ice mages. Or the glamourai who literally managed to deal less damage than our White Mage. They have plenty of players who suck at their roles as well but somehow nobody is calling for them to be dumbed down. In fact, VPR losing its DoT caused a fairly sizeable uproar.

I remember talking with Lorika. We were talking about how bad the phone translators sometimes handled the English and Spanish language. She seems to agree with you on increasing the encounter damage to require more healing. As well as probably re-adjusting the strong tank and DPS self heals down. There is just a difference of opinion that she wants the increased healing to be top priority over more DPS buttons rather than equal or lower priority. Anyways ...
Looking at her post on the last page, it was just meant to be sarcasm about how it's "always the healer's fault" when the tank or DPS obviously flubbed the vuln stack mechanics. It was meant to add to the posts saying all the healers get witch hunted for just a few bad healer experiences but "no one" bats an eye at the bad DPS. More than likely, she is talking about the ones who are greeding too much and didn't bother to try getting out of the orange or green tornado's path.
I understood the original post to be sarcasm initially which is why I sassed back but then the edit confused me when she said “I’m the healer” as if she actually meant that she was discussing her own poor performance as a means of representing reducing healing needed
If the entire comment chain from her was designed to be read sarcastically then I missed the point in translation and I apologise, I’m honestly just really really sick of the whole “I got one bad healer one time so stuff your entire role”
