Everyone of my friends got one after a few runs, I did runs all week and got none.

But one of them was super nice and donated it to me. I love it!

It's over.. it is finally over.. After almost 160 bags, I got the hair. Well... actually, I did not get it. Not from my own bags, nope. Ran PotD with a FC mate and he got it twice in a row, so he gave it to me.

This I do agree with. The fireworks should at least be replaced by lower tier materia.

I turned in ANOTHER 200 bags that I collected and NO HAIRSTYLE! So this is 400 bags I've counted not to mention the countless bags I haven't counted. 6 days for 8 hours a day countless bag and NO HAIR! Some players have got 2-3 and I'm sitting her like WTF!? I've asked for people to trade it with me for gil and have had no luck with that either... I'm am so frustrated it's brought me to tears..... thank you Dev Team you really won with this one......

You're actually counting? Just use your achievement to track it if you're so inclined. It's much healthier if you don't track it though. You're only going to frustrate yourself more.

I wasted much of my weekend trying to get the hairstyle to drop in POTD, no dice. It's ridiculous that it's completely left to RNG. I mean, come on, throw us a bone, if it's RNG, then at least make it 100% drop after a certain number of tries if you aren't lucky enough to get it by then. The fact that this can't be put up on the MB and we have no clue as to whether we'll successfully get it is infuriating. I hope whoever decided to do this and lock a hairstyle behind an RNG wall steps on a bunch of legos.

It's a one use item that will only keep dropping, I give it 2 weeks before it's sub 1m gil. Servers went up only a short while ago and someone already undercut the 10m to 9m. :p

It's possible they knew the item would tank and just wanted a quick sell, but 10-100k would have been more reasonable in that case.

You can store at least 2 in your free retainers and then another in your inventory if it's unique, not sure how marketplace storage works.

I must agree with this here. I still haven't gotten the hair and I've been running PotD every day since patch, multiple times with 2 characters. If it weren't for the friggin crackers and tracers and prisms, this would be a lot more enjoyable. I like the rng on this, and I like PotD, but getting all the fireworks is really not fun. And today after maintenance all it seems to drop right now is fireworks ;_;

The bone they threw at you is called 51-200 in 3.45, you don't have to get the hairstyle in this exact instant, it will likely have higher chance to be obtained from the better accursed hoards.

That (fireworks) was about all I was ever getting before this maintenance, I guess I'll see how it goes tonight.
