So question for you guys, have you killed it again this week? I'd assume you've gotten to it already, but would be nice knowing if the strat is repeatable or if it was just a fluke. Same thing could be asked for any group, has anyone else downed this fight yet?
As cheesy as certain mechanics are with the strat that was used I am not doubting that the kill was legit. I am just wondering if certain things are rng if they work or not and if that prevents another kill or if you have a 1/10 chance of the stars aligning and things working to the T as was shown in the video.

However, BC is easier than was intended -- it wasn't meant to be on farm before ilvl90 overgear. If you really want to know how it was intended, try running it with 2 Warriors -- that's the challenge level SE intended players to face. It was obvious a well deserved kill, especially since they are legacy they had and spent so much time in twintania so without a doubt this group is a very good group. But i wonder about that monk, i cannot understand why he doesnt use dots. There is absolutly no reason to not use them, they do way more dmg than if without. That screenshot looks like it was an enrage? Even i didnt kill twintania yet due to less time spent i still know monk very well and i just dont get it why he doesnt use dots. Until divebomb phase i have steady 280-300 dps how about peng? Our bard has no time to throw tp song in but TP still isnt a problem at all.

I'd like to see just what percentage of the player population has beaten turns 1-4, because if it's as "faceroll easy" as some of you are making out then that should be everyone right? If I had to take a wild guess from seeing the same people around Wineport then I'd say it's down in the single figures, maybe 5% at most.
SE is trying to cater to people of all abilities, but ultimately that's a very hard thing to do without alienating one or the other. Make it too easy and hardcores will faceroll it, make it too hard and the majority will get frustrated and give up and go elsewhere. Perhaps extreme mode primals will give you more of a challenge, I guess we'll see. -

Turn 1-3 is mostly just the ability to interrupt. Turn 4 is admittedly a DPS check, which means that what matters most is whether your tank and DPS are geared in a couple ilv90 pieces for that.
Turn 5's HP requirements are just a flat out ilv90 gear check. Basically it requires you have nearly half or more body pieces (since accessories for nontanks dont include vitality) be ilv90.
I wish there were more fights like Twintania and others a bit harder than Turn 4 that weren't mere gear checks.
As it is currently in the game you have only one truly challenging encounter, and that encounter is gear gated to begin with. -

Don't add insult to injury :( that is not good sportsmanship! Onolock did what he did because he truly believed in what he said.
I believe the discussion while boring at times, it had some merit and pointed out that some boss mechanics are dodgy and not a good battle design (feedback for SE to consider for future content, and Yoshida acknowledged such feedback implicitly).
All in all, was fun! Let's see if BG can down it again :D
While most believe silver medal doesn't count as much as Gold, I believe it still counts a lot! let's see IF anyone else can actually do it :P -

If BG didn't release the video, how many countless hours players has to put in before discovering the "right enough" strategy that will grant the win?
The fact is with new boss mechanics, it is trial-and-error approach (perhaps with some educated guesses based on experience and hints).
What BG did is eliminated a major chunk of the effort required, and presented everyone with one path to success. May not be the only one, but at least it is one that is reproducible.
Having said that, it is still an achievement! So congrats ^^ -
