The temporary solution for players who have this error is to create a new local user in windows log in open steam and start the game and everything will work without problem as long as that windows user is used

Would be nice to have this addressed as I am having this same issue. Have been since 6.2. And while a lot of people with this issue have found a work around, they should not have to, especially not for a subscription based game.

6.2.1 out tomorrow, let's hope for a fix...

Agreed - it's more frustrating that no one has addressed it than the issue itself.

No mention of this crippling glitch in 6.21

6.2.1 still black screen .....
