Regardless of whether you purchased the disc-based version of the game or not, you would download the Heavensward content first, which led to these issues.

We have identified the underlying issue and are currently working with Sony Computer Entertainment to make further fixes. Once there is more progress on this I will make a follow-up.

To make up for the inconveniences caused by this issue, we are planning to send those affected an in-game item or something similar that we can use to address the inconvenience in some way. Once we have decided on the details I will let you all know. Additionally, if there happens to be any other issues related to this, please report it in this thread or to the Support Center. We'll be continuing to address any issues that may arise.

Once again, I would like to offer my sincerest apologies for the inconveniences caused by this issue, and I appreciate your continued support of FINAL FANTASY XIV.

Thanks so much Bayohne! The issues were dealt with swiftly and with style. Maybe you could suggest Ultros as an exclusive mount for us? Who doesn't love Ultros :D :D

thank you very much im glad i came to the forums to get this resolved love you yoshi love the game keep it up plz cant wait for the next one maybe add a duel weilding sword job that would be nice to see lol

That's strange..Downloaded the new patch, the HW homepage shows now also I can create the new Race however despite completing all the of the main quest line, still can't gain EXP or continue with the HW quest line. In the middle of re-downloading the whole thing again.
