Acceptable Cash Shop Items: Suggestions!

Like many others, I say no to cash shop outside of fantasia. If they put more stuff like in game equipment, it shouldn't be anywhere near best in slot stuff (think Odin armor) an only for vanity purposes. That's still a stretch though.

Character stat differences as in race? I've never seen anyone complain about it in this game.

Race stat differences make perfect sense and you see it it most games with different races to choose from. Besides the differences are barely noticeable as is (which was SE's intention). A Roe WAR will have more HP than a Lala, but the difference is so small that it's negligible. Galka vs Taru in FFXI, on the other hand, had a very noticeable difference in HP and MP. Some people refused to have a Taru tank or Galka mage.

EDIT and I just used HP as the example because it's easy.

Fantasia is already overboard. Because SE is bowing to the masses with this honestly I do not think SE will ever consider anything the public complains and wines for out of the question.

Yes, and from my understanding more is to come through those means, but where is the argument against adding even more with a cash shop if the company chooses to?

It basically is [double dipping], but aside from pocketing that money made it goes to further developing goods and services the company puts out, as well as going to legitimate charitable causes in some cases (ie; some of Blizzard's shop items). It's been shown to be very profitable for those companies.

I'll say it again as well; while I'm not for or against the idea of cash shops when done right, the idea of P2W is unappealing.

How is that even pay to win? It doesn't affect other players in any kind of way, nor does it give an unfair advantage.

Yeah, I meant racial stat differences, and someone IS complaining, just a few posts ago, that fantasia is pay to win because you can make your stats better by changing race. =P Which is a silly thought. =)

No cash shop is acceptable in a sub game. I know we have fantasy and the extra retainers already, and I can grudgingly tolerate that. But anymore is just a sign to not do business with a company any longer.

Because by "adding" stuff with the cash shop, they are taking out stuff that could be obtainable in the game itself.

Honestly, it already iirks me that I have to wait months to get the Goblin Helm legitimately without paying for it in advance.

I'd rather earn content since I'm already paying to play.
