I don't know either, but I see it frequently enough that it stood out. It'd be better than nothing for sure, and some look quite nice, but it would be pretty disappointing if that's all it is.

Yeah there's not much else for it but to wait (and raise a stink every now and then :rolleyes:), but I really hope it's not another two years. I don't want anyone to overwork themselves either but if they're not going to include us in releases then maybe they could not release 10/11 hairstyles for everyone else and none for us, and instead split the amount so everyone gets something?

The only place they ever seem to add things in the CC is the hair tab, which would be the fur pattern tab for Hrothgar. Every race generally has the same amount of tabs, just shuffled around or repurposed slightly. Though you do have "8 faces" vs. everyone else's 4 (or 6 if you're a midlander) so we don't actually know the cap on that, but yeah it wouldn't solve the Fantasia issue.

It's speculated that's because Hrothgar and Viera were treated as a package deal, now that male Viera will be added, however, we'll see if that truly was the case.

A package deal? As if... one of them can't get, then none of them will?

I kinda thought about it, but seemed a bit silly, and yeah, with male Viera the scale is completely tipped over, even though they confirmed Fem Hroths at some point. I think it's safe to assume that they will be implemented the earliest in 7.0, to count as a "new race".

I don't even understand why it's being counted as a new race anyway. I mean...it's just the opposite gender of a race that already exists

Makes sense to me

On a positive note I’m pretty happy that the Ivalice gear from Zadnor has every headpiece available to viera and and hrothgar. The healer and caster ones are quite nice.

Trying to stay positive until 6.0. At least with the release of the side pony come and gone, there will be no more new hair to rub our noses in for the next 6 months. :p

yeah that is not gonna happen....when is next instance of news from the devs? there was something of a 14h stream or something?

Yeah, assuming they can safely get everyone together for it. There’s no promise of viera and hrothgar news there but they usually do go into different aspects of the game in depth along with interviews and the like.

It’s going to be a long wait. Just hope we have something to show for it in November. There no way they don’t know it’s an issue for players regardless of how other people in the community try to downplay it. Adding two more options with no access to hair and/or hats is just going to add more fuel to the fire by way of more upset players if that’s still the case when 6.0 drops.
