I just asked you to elaborate on what you meant lol. Why are you lashing out? I'm well-aware of the complaints healers have with the game and the general dissatisfaction, but I don't agree with it myself. My analogy was related to TOP and solo dungeon where "What's the point of healer if you can do it in this niche situation?" equates to "What's the point of using a car if Usain Bolt can run at 40km/h?"

Sort your attitude out, you not wanting to listen to my opinions does not mean I have nothing constructive to say. I've done every form of content and I am satisfied with the state of healing.

DPS shoujld have only attacks. No buffs or debuffs or heals. They don't need them. No movement tools. If your job is melee, no ranged attacks. Every action is a combo action without breaks. There should be no need to take the job homogenisation in account. It's just DPS. So be it. Casters have everything with a cast time. No progs. No positionals.

Sounds fun right?

There's effectively no difference in this context. I've never even played WoW, but watched it tumble down simply due to players banding together and agreeing on a mutual course of action (to stop playing). It wasn't like it was some random coincidence and no one talked about it. It was talked about on every platform extensively and people aired their grievances with one another.

The way you describe it, it's as though one person left at a time and then they eventually all met up and streamers started making content like "Hey wow we all unsubbed I guess, let's start covering this". No, that is not what happened at all.

Lashing out? :confused: If you can provide proof of me "lashing out" I'd gladly sort that out, but your analogy was completely absurd, and I have already mentioned the issue goes far deeper than just "ultimates cleared without healers".

If you're satisfied with the current state of healers, I don't think this thread is for you, unless of course you're here to provide some high class trolling like some others do here.

"Change this role, we're boycotting!" If you want an echo chamber then please let us know in the very beginning. I truly don't want my role changed because people who have never done the hardest content want to change the job for everyone.

What are you talking about? I have never mentioned the necessity to change the role. Are you sure you're not confusing me with someone else? lol

Again, refer to the thread I linked earlier. If you're happy with the current state of healers -- great! No one is forcing you to protest or join the bandwagon, this thread is simply not for you. You'll be happy with faster queues for DF? Great! No one is telling you to stop. People are free to do as they wish, but you still haven't provided me with factual proof of me lashing out.

A lot of the dissatisfaction comes from how healing is now compared to then, and not just healing requirements or dps kits, but altogether. One could argue nostalgia/rose-tints, but unless one has experienced how it used to be, it's hard to pin the outcry on plain nostalgia.

I started playing at the end of Shadowbringers (.55 or .58 patch, I'm not exactly sure) but I've done the final savage tier savage tier of SHB (I'll say it wasn't real experience though, I was bad and I had echo) and I've been heal maining since then, not missing out on any content at all. I don't know how it was in the expansions before exactly so I will not try to invalidate any of that. I enjoy playing all healers apart from Scholar which I just find boring as a job.
