I've been playing with 110-120 ms since 2.0 release. I'm also a NIN main. It's not that bad, just gotta get used to it and adjust accordingly. On a side note, I agree with you on the "commiefornia" bit ;[

Loooooool. I cry.. and laugh so hard XD. Back when hard mode was new I remember having some really serious "wut...?" moments. Three horizontal characters worth from the sand and still slapped in the face, awesomeeee! Memorized his cast order just to avoid attacks (was moving before the ability, worked it out with the FC so I wouldn't run a sand into their face). It's much better now though, I can respond to sands the moment I see them rather than worry in advance.
Only the northwest coast of South america should see a slight improvement. Im pretty sure Brazil is their biggest market in SA and everyone got fucked here. My ping went from 100 to 220 =.= a friend from argentina went from 150 to 250. Its very well known arround here that the route from most SA to the west coast is completely garbage.
SE took this decision without considering our continent, so I'll just quit the game and use the money with games that actually provide good service to us.
My ping is around 300 now. I've come to the conclusion that SE doesn't think we exist, I already had trouble with certain mechanics in fights like a11s and titan extreme, not sure how's going to be now.
You mean to tell me all this time, every west coast player was playing the game with unplayable pings? Boy was I fooled.
Horrible, literally. 180 and now 300!
This makes me very sad, because this game I like a lot and now I do not know what to do :(
Put your money where your mouth is people. The only way Square Enix will change the data center at this point is if you make it clear they wont receive funding for their game until they do so.
