They do have a point though.
You didn't just criticize the writing but basically want the producer to apologize for it in tbh pretty much Karen tone.
He already did that in the rising event and live letters and we do see betterment right now actually.
Accountability would also be entirely unfair towards those who actually liked the story and I say that as someone who absolutely hated base DT.

Then there are also the "players" here who want normal people fired and their life destroyed for a mediocre video game story for simply doing their job.

There is criticism which I completely stand behind (and I think DT truly deserved harsh one) and then there is going overboard.

I don't want accountability, I want them to do a better job, simple as that and I think that message got across.
At some point it's time to let it rest and look forward again.

Also if you ever used gpt for writing, you would know just how horrible and cringe it actually is.
DT is honestly a solid work compared to that.

Unfortunately they seemed to be trying to make Kuja without...actually making Kuja. Same as they tried to pattern Wuk Lamat as the Zidane of the expansion without understanding what makes Zidane so beloved.

Maybe they have, maybe not. They would never publicly admit to it.

But it's been a monumental failure and continues to do so. They could totally erase Dawntrail from existence and retake it at the end of Endwalker and we would all be fine.

Yoshida and other high-positions at SE already stated very clearly that they are planning a complete "rebirth" of FFXIV same as happened with ARR. What does this entail? no way to know.

Let's see if 7.4 will change anything. I highly doubt it, but I guess we can pretend It's going to fix everything and ramp up the copium.
