This thread isn't about healers dps'ing it's about wanting more dps actions/skills if I'm not mistaken. It's very rare in my experience to find a healer who doesn't dps. On the other hand it's pretty common for me to find a co healer who does little else but dps'ing.
I don't find healing boring either, I'm not sure why pressing 1,2,3 is more engaging than pressing 3,3,3 frankly. I like playing healers exactly because there's no rotation. I get my DoT on mobs, I use my AoE skill if it's a pack, if not single target skill as much as possible. That's woven into all the proactive/reactive stuff that comes from healing different groups of different abilities in different content. Which maybe face-roll easy for some folks here on the forums, but it isn't face-roll easy for most of us out there in game. I do not know a single other person in game who uses the forums, and that's in 10 years of playing this game. I do know lots of healers who are happy with their jobs right now.
Since I have as much right to demand stuff as the next person, I'll do just that. Please, SE, don't change anything, I'm loving my healers right now. Even found I liked AST enough to level it this expansion
There is more than one dps skill check your hotbar. If i want a true dps rotation I'll role a dps how novel.
Edit: And for WHM I have Dia, Glare, Asssize, Aflflalus Misery, Presence of Mind, Thin Air, and Holy. That's more than one I believe. But that doesn't fit the agenda of only one button does it?
Oh you're not allowed to like it. Listen to the I want healers to be more like dps crowd.
The problem is they already are like dps and always have been. You know, if they did increase healer dps complexity and perhaps softened dps checks to compensate for it, why would you care if they did that? You aren't forced to do the more complex rotation, you may keep it at 1 button if you want, nothing changes in accessibility as far as I'm aware.
