1. - No, this has completely opened the market and made it possible to find items that are not being made on my server.
While I know I have lost money I have also saved a fortune. With all market shifts it will balance out.
2. - Its contested content leave it alone. Working as intended.

I didn't have a problem with cross-world in WoW for one reason:

Server communities were already dead at that point.

FFXIV still has server communities. But "features" like cross-world kill that. I would love to see cross-world removed, but I know it won't be. Which will just open the door for more community killing "features".

I'll still play FFXIV, but my enjoyment is already lessened because I'm already seeing Siren's community degrading. And I'm not the only one, nor is ours the only server seeing it.

1 - Make the items that are missing on your server. 100% profit.
2 - Contested content is a cop out.

Stop defending bad design

TBecause if greed of some sellers this was implemented, i am happy it did, now i have the choice to check for cheaper prices, manipulating the market board prices was way too exaggerated, so SE thinks.

1. Is false.
Most people aren't searching different worlds for the cheapest price, unless the item they want is markedly overpriced on their server.
They can find it for a more reasonable price on another, preventing price inflation and monopolising.
This is the world visit system succeeding at its job.

2. Is also false. Servers are too big to have their own "community", thats what FCs and linkshells provide.
What you're describing is a clique that has claimed Limsa as their personal chat room.

1. You can not only sell stuff at any server without any problem, but at cut-throat prices also. Its all about knowing what to sell and when.

2. Nope, if someone want the mark so badly no-one stopping him to camp it.
Also people who solo/don't announce spawns or share it with a chosen few are not at fault, being notified about a spawn that you didn't camp is a privilege not a right.
(Same goes for those who get kicked from raids for being dead weight.)

I've never seen such a whiney and entitled community before.

3. Hopefully they'll optimize the game better for weak systems sometime in the future. (Wouldn't hold my breath personally.)
Though again personally i wish that they finally offered an HD texture pack.

4. Agree about logging players, don't see a reason for prioritizing tranfer back to home tho since noone forced the said player to visit another world in the first place.

to me the biggest flaw is that i have to log in to my homeworld to use it. would be better to use it from character screen.

last week i tried to log in to Ragnarok but got block by 4800 ppl infront of me in the queue. on the other hand i could easily log in with my alt to louisoix.
now imagine i could have logged in there with my main.

It's not false, though. Server communities are very much a thing. Size has nothing to do with it.

It has nothing to do with liking or disliking something. I like contested content. But using this as an excuse for bad design is still a cop out. Don't assume someone does or does not like something because they see BS for what it is.

Crossworld is awesome. I see little on the downside for it. Would be nice if we could marry cross server and get our mail and possibly even join a FC but other than that I'm very happy with it.

Then how is it bad design? They are hunt mobs open to the public first come fiery serve to those that can kill it. I fail to see the issue but I’m more then willing to hear your point of view on it.
