Devs finally managed to piss me off.

I find myself in a most uncomfortable position... because like, I am usually the one going up and down on SE over things. However I think people are actually being a bit ungrateful. 1.21 is around the corner with some seriously heavy stuff. This is just a cute little freebie.

This is very sad. And OP is right - I think he is only sorry about what will happen to the game. Firstly the gogo goobbue feels good, but soon the whole Eorzea is full of them. And since they stay as mounts after 2.0 - I am sorry too. RIP

And what comes to giving us a gift... How about an item we could wear that had some use? Like people might remember the Tidal Talisman's in FFXI that teleported you to places or a warp staff that could return you to your homepoint for no anima used... etc. etc.

SirOleas is right, considering where the main changes are going on in this game, the graphics guys probably had more than enough spare time to throw this together.

As for breaking immersion etc, I don't see too much of a problem. It's days were numbered due to jumping anyway.

Side note: I don't think an item letting me return to my home point for 0 anima would be very useful.

I'm usually grateful. But I can't like this. I can't even use it. Hiir's head goes completely offmonitor, I can't see where I am going and I start bumping into things and getting caught on ridges. It could be so awesome if they'd just fix it. But it annoys me so much that such an obvious problem wasn't solved before release. I shouldn't have to tell SE this. I'm not even a pretend game architect.

You're right, being able to teleport to the main cities would be pretty awesome, hell even to the individual outposts. Lets all get a nice trinket that lets us do that! Oh, wait a minute...

I don't get the complainers, getting a thank you present that took se no time at all is really such a big deal? The implication that in the same amount of time the devs could've made some new monsters pretty much discounts the OPs opinion as it is. If you don't like them guys, just roll.a character on the new servers come 2.0.

I think we need to go bigger.
