Tank Gear's Value for the Future.

You already know that the WAR tank DPS is broken when you see a youtube video of 7 WARs and 1 WHM down Thordan EX. That shouldn't be possible in recent patch content.

That is what I said. I replied to a girl who wanted to nerf Fell Cleave to 300ish damage. I said that was useless because they have a 300 potency attack.

true, but you ignored the part where she has it scale with hp. regardless, i think the idea to change it that way is bad, and agree with you on that.

A lot of tanks I know (DRK and PLD too) are upset because they may not be able to use their DPS stance when tanking (something I'm hoping for...). That's what I'm talking about.

I don't think our DPS is going to change much. Its just being "forced" to be in tank stance lowering DPS. Off tanking shoudm't be affected much

I guess I'm misunderstanding something. How is changing dmg modifiers from STR to VIT 'forcing' us to stay in tank stance while MT? Why would it become detrimental to stance dance? Beyond the change in accessories, I don't intend to play any differently from how I am playing now. If anything, with the added pool of HP we should be able to use DPS stance more often.

You need to learn some manners, and stop complaining about the changes.

It's hardly useless when potency scales up with lower current HP, it's risk/reward, the reward is full strength Fell Cleave the risk is running low health to get it. I know it's not happening, but to me, the high risk, high reward concept fits Warrior perfectly.

Unless healing has changed, scaling it with HP is bad because well... that means if your healed it would just be worthless damage.

I haven't seen the live letter thing, but will they be doing anything with that worthless secondary stat Parry?

I don't remember it being specifically mentioned, but they did talk about there being a lot more adjustments, without giving specifics. I can only hope that yhey do something to make it relevant again.

I wasn't questioning the use of gender, I was objection to the marginally dismissive use of 'girl'. I can only imagine the response if someone started calling other posters 'boy'.

They are not doing anything with parry. It will still slightly effect your parry rate.
