Really guys? All this sense of accomplishment over a game? I would wish that you would carry that attitude over to real life, you would be a very accomplished person ( because anything accomplished in real life has more value than virtual data floating in hard disks somewhere).
A game is a game is a game, once it stops the fun and the competition begins, it becomes a sport. This is NOT a sport, and even then if it was, are you winning real money to be even proud of it?
You think content is too easy? Stop playing! Go do something else!
March is my last month of FF14, because I have plans for other MMOs and I can safely say that I regret not a single penny spend on this game, but I grew bored (though still I have things I could do to kill that boredom) and I think having fun in a game is more important than competition without benefit.
