T5 Nerfed

I didn't see a thread on this in the first few pages (with the exception of the tank agro situation) so I figured I'd enlighten people.


-Divebomb icon now larger and more visible
-BIG Snake HP lowered (small snakes still same hp)
-Conflags hp reduced roughly 33%


and neither a buff or nerf (due to the lowered conflag hp, it's no longer needed):

-When in conflag twin will not attack you and move on to the next person on the emnity list (only really effects MT). Since conflags die so fast now, the tank doesn't need to go into it in the first place.

I'm really surprised they nerfed twin seeing as how the echo buff in 2.2 is coming as it is.

Because it effects people who do twin or haven't beaten it yet?

Yes. Difficult content should be difficult. Lesser players reaping the rewards for the most difficult content makes those rewards less prestigious. I can think of a number of players who are bad DPS that will probably complete T5 this week when they never would have been capable before.

I fail to see how people is worried about this nerf when in about a month or less the content will be old.

The up I see is that people doesn't need to be even more geared for conflags, but if you still not understand the mechanics you aren't going anywhere.

As for the "divebombs nerf" about time they increased the size of the icon, I shouldn't have to turn off names and effects to see it.

Bads will still die to divebombs, get one-shotted by DS and trap half their party in conflags. All these small nerfs are doing is lowering the dps checks a bit.

I wouldn't worry about terrible players getting Allagan weapons just yet.

Yeah, none of these were the real issue in the groups I ran anyhow. It's always people dying to divebombs, or the entire group being near death by the time Twin comes back and blasts everyone dead dead dead

Cause they wouldn't be able to do it in a month when the mega nerf comes anyways? Who really cares. Most people who have been doing T5 also do the majority of endgame content with statics and FCs, and you rarely have to deal with these "bad dps" in your day to day activities. And lets be honest: Most people that share that sentiment will shame and ridicule bad dps until they quit the instance anyways, instead of actually helping them become good enough to clear the content.
