No it doesn't I'm in an FC on my alt that specifically deals with this. We have baby ducks and we gear them up just fine. This argument holds no weight for me new players can get DL and go into CT and coil just fine. You are grasping at straws.

Except that as more content is released, SE will remove the lockouts and lower the difficulty on older content, allowing new players to complete it quicker. the problem I run in to is im sitting with an all ilvl90 whitemage in a static group. My real life buddy just picked back up the game again. When he reaches 50 he will never be able to catch up to me really because of lockouts. Also even if I wanted to run with him on dragoon I can not as I am locked out of everything from running with my static. I also just found that i really like dragoon and would like to play that in coil, however my static has noone else able to heal. So I am locked in to being a healer, until such time as someone else gets all ilvl 90 and switches to whitemage, and not being able to help my friend because of lock outs. Ive resorted to making an alt to be able to raid with my friend....in a game that boats a system where you can play any jobs on one character...this is where the system bothers me, I want to play with everyone :/

Ya your full of it im sorry. your FC has ways to bypass lockouts and a myth cap? Its not just about getting all our jobs in darklight, thats easy we do that already, so woopdiedoo for your FC i guess? The point is you cant play this content with any more then 7 other people currently. And god forbid you want to play through coil from a different point of view. Unless you are lucky and have someone else willing to take over the role you want to give up you are out of luck in your static. Also none of what you said changes the fact that a new player today will not be twintania ready to play with people grinding it now no matter how hard they play. I will concede though the raised myth cap may help this a little bit.

can someone explain the rushed.content? you mean the terrible leveling experience that guides you to 50 by main story or that early on AK was better than wp so we sskipped a tier. or was it we ddidn't spend enough time on primals but relic wqs just one step aaway? this game has a fair amount.of content but se designed it terribly in you skip tiers for reasons and titan weapons have no reason beside swag at the early stages.

I don't understand this whole new players are forever behind. Once you get full DL and start on CT and coil, it's all a matter of RNG at that point with a dash of myth farm. Let's say a new 50 gets full DL and jumps into coil, and magically gets mostly gear for their job in three weeks. Does that mean they are still 'behind' everyone else because the only have one piece of myth gear? Total rarity of course, unless you were in coil during the DRG days as a DRG. The fact is, there really is no falling behind, it's more about RNG (un)luck.

Removing lockout fixes that issue completely.

Honestly, it's getting tiresome seeing ppl whine about this on a new topic EVERY DAY. Go level up your crafts or something. Go out to a bar every so often. Hang out with your friends, clean your room, get a good nights sleep. Play any new MMORPG and cry abot how there is no content after you speed though it in a few months. Plenty of things you can be doing.

This is stupid anyway. If you removed lockout then the same players would just be crying in a week that they have all the best gear in the game and they have nothing to do.

True, but the arguement forever behind is silly and grasping at straws. Sticking to more solid arguments would be best. Or else this thread becomes another one of those.
