Hey guess what: The reason we ARE getting auto attack is because SE received more votes saying YES to auto attack than votes saying NO. So sorry to inform you brudda but it's all said and done :3

Maybe you should have pulled this "White Knight in shining armor" troll routine before the player poll voted heavily in favor of YES to auto attack.

why exactly are your WS useless? they have the same stamina cost, do more dmg, and add effects? what about your abilities? i think way too many people are fighting weak stuff, you realize if combat is nothing but smashing 1 button... combat with auto attack will be nothing but smashing one button.... very rarely?
This still wont solve your boring combat issues, what will make your combat better is more difficult monsters, i am sure its not a lack of available skills, because we have a great number of skills available, with varying effects and uses, and yall still dont care about em.

Anyhow AA is coming, i hope the other battle mechanics they put into place are engaging and useful, because ffxi, i played it recently and its really not entertaining combat, to me anyway.

Auto-Attack can make or break this game, if they don't put AA in, the game will fail.

I dont think auto attack or the lack of autoattack makes anygame, more the overall game design.

basically AA isnt the end of the world, nor is it the beginning.

auto-attack is such a conundrum, the polls just can't make up their mind.

AA DOES make and break a game ;O

aa only makes or breaks the useless players in mmo's that apparently are the only ones that voted at least once in the polls. auto attack is a useless part of this game, it is unnecessary. the end. ty. and a good day.

I love these threads that just complain over some change that was in the polls, and won't even give it a chance before they start throwing a fit over it. Even funnier is the cries that no other mmo does it, while they do, yet the argument is every mmo does it, like it was, and some how these same people want ffxiv to be different from other mmos.
Basically nothing but contradictions.

Seriously people, it's auto attacks, if the game starts playing for us, then at that point yeah, it's time to start complaining.
The devs are shifting focus away from basic attacks, and shifting it towards communication and strategic actions.
Lets see what they can do with it before we start the witch hunts and hysterics.
