Without Hive weapon and no party buffs, food or pots, 820 is realistic in a real environment that isn't on a dummy. With buffs and everything including food, Hive weapon, about 1k in a fight that doesn't have a lot of downtime.

In regards to the whole "Do I turn GB off":
I cleaned up my math a bit, and included ADII as well as incorporated AA's properly.
AA Pot (Did 35 non crit slugs, took out AD II and averaged them and came up with 4.05 PPD. Then took the average of my non-crit AA's and turned it into Potency) = 86
4x Split - 140x4
2x Slug - 180x2
1x Clean 200
17.5 Second (6 AAs)
560 + 360+ 200
1120 Potency
86*6
516 Potency
With GB + HS + ADII
(((1120 * 1.2) * 1.3) * 1.05) - 1834.5
Without GB
((1120*1.2) * 1.05)+ (516 * 1.05) = 1952.8
That is around a 118 Potency difference or 479 Damage over the course of 17.5 seconds which is around 27 DPS difference.
Taking off GB while fishing for Procs is definitely ideal. The problem comes in with Tunnel Visioning and knowing when to turn it back on.
Also for reference you lose around 37 Potency when you fire off Blank/Head Graze while out of GB.
anyone have an idea why does act sometimes drop out Wildfires? mostly the 1st and 3rd are just missing in the list.. so frustrating
As long as a copy of your parse is saved, either raw combat log or network data, contact reddit.com/u/ravahn and give him your parse data along with telling him about Wildfire issue.
I remember this was a problem at launch and he may of broke it again, or a recent FFXIV patch might of changed the ID numbers for it.
Basically, the game treats Wildfire as ground AOE DoT oddly, but it goes through the combat log in-game this sometimes causes issues with ACT tracking it correctly.
