i call fake on that!!!
Dead Ends. SCH didn’t know to Esuna when they got hit with Necrosis. Two wipes because I got greedy while soloing and I wasn’t soloing the second attempt when it was at 61%. I ended up soloing the final boss because I wasn’t spending my squadron rationing manual food buff in there. Almost forty minutes.
Amaurot. I notice the damage is hitting harder than usual and see my SCH doesn’t have their fairy summoned and are panic healing. I mention the fairy by just typing “faerie?” and got no response. Second W2W still no fairy nor Aetherflow for either pull and they end up spamming Physick to keep me alive. DPS was also insufferably slow. Final cherry on top was them using Lucid when they hit zero mp. I bailed before we even got to the first boss.
Well, I'm going to add another nice one I experienced earlier.
Was browsing the Duty Finder early morning before work, and noted a newbie asking for help queuing 'The Final Gasp' as they were keen to progress with the MSQ but had been queueing for it for a while with no sign of it 'popping'. So joined their team and it filled quite quickly thereafter.
And have to admit, we had a blast - such an enthusiastic team, lots of encouragement given to the newbie and was actually disappointed when it finished. We all cheered the newbie on and recommended they savor what is yet to come, with many of us saying that we wish we could experience it all again through a new player's eyes, before said newbie moved on to the 'finale'.
I like use clemency. Healers usually think like I happy with 90% hp. No I want be full hp. If healers want do dps instead healing fine, I heal myself.
I play in rpg - roleplay game. Healers is a heal role. So heal please. I as paladin have great unicue heal spell. Why I must ignore him for +100 dps? This skill describe me as paladin who can protect and heal.
I play in GAME. Not in speedrun simulator.
??????
You don't need to be full constantly though, and PLD has enough self healing from non-clemency abilities that healers don't need to heal you as much. Clemency is an emergency button, not something you have to spam on yourself because you're down to 90% hp lol
You have an egregious misunderstanding on how healers function in this game. Healers are expected to DPS when healing isn't needed. Healing isn't needed when you're at 90% hp (except in a very specific couple of situations).
Also, sage heals you every time they cast a dps spell
Astrologian's essential dignity ability heals you for MORE the lower your hp is.
I know. Just I like then healers know - they are healers. They are not dps members. Its a cringe if you as WHM waiting while my hp down 20% and use benefiction after. I'm not robot or numbers on your panel. I am paladin. I am man. Think about players like they mans. Not like "he don't die I don't heal him". Nah I hate this gameplay style. Its good on savage. But not good on normal content where you can play as roleplay character.
No it's more cringe expecting a healer to be your personal curebot that keeps you topped up at 100% instead of helping the group kill stuff. Healers have dps abilities for a reason.
I don't said that. You play with my words instead try understand what I mean.
And they have more buttons for healing for a reason.
Well you're demanding healers not dps because they are in the healer role (despite having dps abilities...), it's not too much to expect you to hold yourself to the same standard. You're a tank so obviously you only press mitigation and provoke!
Yeah and those abilities aren't required all the time. When those abilities aren't needed, what do you think they are supposed to do? Just sit there doing nothing or spamming cure on you whenever the boss sneezes at you?
Spoiler alert: you don't need to be healed up to 100% hp 100% of the time. You'll survive at half hp, I promise. A good tank trusts their healers to heal them when NEEDED, not because you got a tiny scratch. And again, paladin has so much self sustain tied into their non-clemency abilities that you do a lot of the healers work for them.
For what it's worth, I've been running expert roulettes with friends, our tank is a paladin and we run three dps. You know why? Because paladins regen doesn't need a healer.
The parade of jokes and juggling can go on all evening long. I said my main point earlier. Healers should treat party members like humans. And not with sets of strips that still won't die because the boss will deal 30% damage, and party members have 40% hp. No before boss aoe all must have 100% hp. We must be prepeared vs evil.
Oh I see what this is. You have main character syndrome and think because you're the tank you're the center of the world and expect everyone to play how you think is correct. Got it.
By the way, as an RPer myself, get your role-playing out of dungeons with random players. You give us a bad name, no one wants to deal with that.
Hm so why as healer I heal party 100%? Heal character syndrome? Same for me. As a RP player I don't want deal with party who care only about " FAST FAST FAST WE MUST DO IT FAST AND LEAVE "
I swear to god: so much would make sense for the terrible players i had the burden to meet ingame aswell as on the forums if one day i find proof that none of them comprehends that the other characters are actual living humans aswell. If you want to be bad on purpose you have 2 options: group finder and the scions. The looser trusts won't bother how bad you play.
Just had another Endsinger trial via trial roulette. Seen this GNB who stops dps entirely here & there, which I assume they purposely do so to let the two first timer in the party to enjoy the full dialogues in 2nd phase. Depression bird dies just as the last scion finishes their dialogue, still.
Been seeing this "stop dps to let first timer enjoy"-kind of thing for quite a while. I wish they made the ilv sync tighter.

Lmao Clememecy debate. Play however you like, whatever makes you happy---that does not mean free of consequences though :p
A little bit of credential/post history check helps btw.
Its a good moment. SE need do better design game for new player experience.
Speedrunning content its not skill.
Maybe. But why I must listen to the players who is tired of the game and does not find fun in roulette?Quote:

You don't have to listen. That doesn't mean they have to stop talking about it. You've also walked into a vent thread so you are putting yourself intentionally in the path to hear these complaints.
Lol you right.
Btw its a good idea with dps for trials. Less dps for more enjoy. Why I didn't do that earlier. Its a great trick. Especially for cool trials. Sprouts experience is important.
Let them leave. It's not like it'll take long to refill. And aside from a handful of fights with triple tank busters, it doesn't really matter if you're down a person or two.
Forgot why I stopped playing AST. People cry so much about the cards.
Noticed our DNC(full crown mentor by the way) isn't doing damage(lower dps than myself as AST on pulls and on boss) by the first boss. I stop giving them cards and halfway through the dungeon and at the end they're asking questions. I wasn't using the pink cards on myself since the SAM was doing really good damage and it didn't really matter. It's not like I called them out for it either or did anything that should alert them.
Thankfully they didn't complain until the end of the dungeon and I just left instantly but still. I also just find it strange that you can't out dps an AST but you're somehow noticing that the AST is in fact not giving you cards.
I consider it obnoxious. How do you shame someone that isn't even there? All you've really done is show that you're someone I really don't want to be around.
The party refilled, we did the duty and it was honestly whatever.
Sooooo... what's with the caveman speak? I looked through your post history and you can quite clearly make posts using readable English. Did you just fall into a bad mood and decide to come troll the forums or something?
To the ninny sage I had earlier in WoD:
I made a small comment that I was hoping for Breach. I gave you my reason (blm wanting to push buttons), and you told me I wasn't fun at all.
Well, when you're CONSTANTLY being thrown into CT raids and seeing that YOU'RE the person ilvl cheesing, it makes for very unhappy people in your party, doesn't it? It's not my fault that I want to push the rest of my buttons (Xenoglossy and Paradox are amazing dopamine pushers), and it's obvious you've never tried to level blm in content or even in high level content. Our rotations frustratingly change every 10 levels. EVERY. 10. LEVELS. Yours as a sage really doesn't change that much at all. Push button, make sparkly for you.
For me, it's push button, see explosions, and in higher level content, BEEEG explosions. Your ilvl cheesing is the reason why people in higher level content don't understand half of their kits or don't know how to do a good chunk of basic mechanics.
Please stop ilvl cheesing so the sprouts CAN ACTUALLY GROW AND LEARN instead of constantly being stunted. May your shoes ever be filled with Legos if you continue to ilvl cheese roulettes.
Sincerely,
One Angry Black Mage
I got some time today to do voidcast dais (couldn't get a group yesterday)... I watched Mizteq video beforehand so I had a brief understanding of the fight but got killed a few times, more than I like, but I'm a bit rusty after not playing for a few weeks really.
I'm curious why such a boss design?. It's hard to see where is he facing, some mechanics go one after another and you need good practice to be on point. I would say it's more than EX 2 fight. All of that while it's a MSQ fight. At some point they will add NPC with "follow Yshtola" mode but what gives? I guess on patch week everyone is progressing and quickly getting groups but later on, it dies.
As a side note: for me it was like a low engagement moment. Some guy in weird armor was in cutscenes and now we have him as a trial after his minions. Few dialogues and nothing much else from a blank character. I know it's THE Golbez from some FF but I didn't play that not to mention now it's somewhat different.
