this is the worst, having no official word that they even went out like last time.

Clearly they singled me out to not invite me because they hate me. That's the only clear answer.

I didn't get an invite either, but it's fine. Maybe it's a sign I should be studying for finals and not playing a game so.....

No^^, before I left england (like 5 years ago) I used to have a rotweiller X jack russel, he was nice! But liked to sleep in late lol. New guy is Shep x (something? maybe pit) and is very active from 6am til about 11pm, but I don't mind this^^ Just takes a while to get him into a routine^^

Blame the D00DS who claim they can play 24 hours a day, 7 days a week when they actually have a full time job.

It may sound mean, but it's probably a blessing in disguise that unqualified people get in. Sometimes people who aren't quite bright or have awful computers manage to find bugs in interesting ways when they get bored and aren't doing "proper" testing.

I've had enough alpha testing experience to call it a semi-job >.>. The noob better not be rated higher then those who really know how to make that retarded sequence that crashes the servers XD

I bet its all hardware and IP though - their alpha is pretty bugless so I hear, they need to test hardware really.

People with low spec PC's don't represent me.

If it's a problem that wouldn't show up on a proper current gaming PC, than I don't care about it.

I would rather have proper testers with proper hardware.

If the pc selected can run the game - it's proper hardware.
It's important that the testing-base is varied to pick up on all problems.

If you say you don't care about problems that may affect others then it's probably a good that you did not get selected for testing. :/

Well next batch of invites seems to be going out on 12/5 JST so we'll see... was sent out 12/3 (PST) midnight for this round. The one before that was sent out on 11/26 at 1AM so I am guessing it should be around same time for 12/5.

I got an email from my XI ls leader, who lives in UK last week, she chose the top answer to every question with no thought. And she's in the alpha right now! Mind you she had forgotten she even applied...

From day one all you've done is clutch at straws and cry because you haven't been selected, even going as far as to submit a ticket because you weren't picked. You need to knock off this entitlement crap.

I can guarantee that if you were picked you would be quiet about these issues, but as it stands you weren't picked and now you're (again) throwing your toys out the pram.

Computers below minimum specs won't be picked (what's the point in picking a machine that can't run it?) Lower end PCs however that can run it can also be classed as awful. Being able to run the game on minimum is still being able to run the game. So again, clutching at straws because you didn't get an invite.

Define proper hardware. The point of Alpha is to stress test their servers and see if both lowest spec PC's to highest spec PC's can handle the graphical and latency conditions of the game. Not everyone who buys this game will have a nice PC to play it on. You have to test playing this game in as many scenarios as possible. It wouldn't be fair to the low spec PC player if he had to deal with bugs created from not testing the game with their type of hardware.

Also, I don't believe the alpha applications include incompatible hardware/software options.

I think it is kinda rude, but also funny, that they just decided to not update the NA side at all regarding this wave of invites. Serves people right though with how they acted the first time.

What I find even more interesting is it actually worked to prevent the flood of Q.Q. Here I come to the forums with a bowl of hot, buttery popcorn and the Q.Q is at a bare minimum. I am disappoint.

It's ok to be disappointed about something naturally disappointing. A few here think that whoever dares to be disappointed about something SE does (whatever it is) is bad people. Antagonizing those makes them feel artificially superior, apparently.

As of now, the beta selection process has been flawed by the inclusion of people that don't have an active account already. I wouldn't be surprised if more flaws were present.

It's a pity, but more invites will come.
