That would be kupotastic kupo !
Getting lost? Don't fret kupo! Use Moogle Maps today for all your directions/maps of Eorzea :P lol
How does that have anything to do with whom i was replying to?
Of course you would keep subbing , you're doing content and are satisfied with what you're getting from your sub payment.
The person im responding to is talking about not wanting to wait for content ( as they are out of things to do clearly) and so i made my point . If people are bored take breaks , be the one in control and not sub just out of habit.
How did this escape you ?
How does your post make any sense in relation to whom i replied to
You still sub because you enjoy playing , errr , looks around , well done??
What's unique about that , we all do

Seems like more and more people are not fine with the content drought anymore!
I'm a visionary.
Alot of people forgot that an MMO is not a singleplayer...
I'm a raider too but there is hardly any "content" drought, go out and sozialize if you feel like there is nothing to do. You might find yourself busy with that and just enjoy your time hanging out with folks in the game.
I'm having a better time in FFXIV since I started doing that, before that I also only came on during raid times and "maybe" did a daily or two at max.
For some reason people want to be kept busy in a game and in the same time they hate it when they are being kept busy. It's a hate spiral.
If you've "done everything" and are just bored waiting for the next patch, congratulations you've finished the game! go play something else until new content drops. Addiction is unhealthy. I don't Raid, or do any Savage stuff, I play casual and take my time between story quest releases, still got a couple of jobs below 50 I can use to level and fill in time. If you go hard at the start and no-life it, and run out of content, it's hardly the developers fault that you feel the need to log on and be bored.
Patches do not aim to keep people who have done everything already occupied for a month, that is not realistic, the goal is to add to the content there is. As somebody who uses a lot of plugins, waiting for updates between patches is also my least favourite part
Seems like this game is not that kind of game for hardcore raiders where they mainly just raid. After weekly savage clear, there’s no reward doing that second time, and ultimate doesn’t get released regularly. MMO consists many type of play styles, and this game just focus too much on RP.
I'm completely fine as I just started Stormblood.
I couldnt unsub and take a break or i would lose my House i had for Years and invested 60 million in with no space on my retainers to store all the furniture.
Kupo, The Real Ultimate end game is looking awesome and partying with friends. <3 kupo
It doesn't matter how many months it takes 'em.
We barely get anything within a patch as is.
They're taking longer to give us less kekw.
Being able to clear an entire patch in a day has sadly just been a thing ever since shadowbringers launched. They keep wasting what little time square gives them on features very few people use instead of making content or addressing issues.
There’s other games to play while waiting. Like Yoshi P said its okay to take a break and play other games , come back when there’s a patch update. Im a casual player that doesn’t do savage or ultimate im not a midcore/hardcore raider. Sometimes i do extremes for mounts (only have SoS *shudders* and Emerald left for the gwib) , already got my first EW EX cleared, didnt do the other two cus i dont really care for the mounts etc and stuff but most of the time i log in , do my daily roulettes when its a reset day and log off. 4 months isnt nothing lol times goes by fast xD
As someone who started playing FFXIV half a year ago, the abundance of content to me is dizzying, to say the least. Perhaps I'm just lucky to be late on the train, as there's never enough time to do everything I'd like to and I'll only be able to barely scratch the surface of all the things to unlock, do and achieve before 7.0 comes around.
yawn..... 2/10
Getting content quickly means nothing if it's over within the same week of release. Case in point, 6.1. If you aren't progging Ultimate. What longevity does this patch have? We have a 24 man with a weekly lockout you'll maybe spam for glamour, a single EX fight and several story/side quests which are all primarily one and done. Tataru's grand adventure could be the best questline made. It's still a finite piece of content that won't last more than an hour or two. Even at a gradual pace, you'll have 2-3 weeks of content and then... nothing else for the remaining three months.
I'll be farming extremes and hopefully work on p4s again.
I love Skiros threads.
Yeah, it's because you're new.
Those have us that have been playing for years or longer haven't had much to do for a long time now, and new patches don't offer much. I can't remember the last time I didn't complete all the new content in a patch in under a day (not counting savage, which is limited to when my group can get together).
I've been playing since 3.1 and haven't run out of things to do at all. Not even close. Jobs to level, Triple Triad cards to collect, mounts, minions, achievements etc.
Every time someone says there isn't anything to do, they just mean anything they personally want to do. The content is there, they just don't want to do it.
Me playing since 2.0: "First time?"
But seriously, content lulls happen all the time in this game. Yoshi-P himself encourages taking breaks from the game. So take a break from the game for a few months before returning for the new stuff added, no need to make a mountain out of a molehill.
Well, yeah - many people don't want to do a lengthy and tedious grind for the sake of doing a lengthy and tedious grind. I'd love to be able to collect more Triple Triad cards but I see little fun in doing the same fight over and over and over again for a chance of maybe getting the card I'm looking for.
Much in the same way as how I could technically go to the Diadem to mindlessly click gathering nodes for many hours each day for the materials needed to craft hundreds of items to get enough points to unlock a rare mount. Yet that simply isn't a productive or respectful use of my precious free time.
Yep, I stopped playing swtor after 5.0 and the great "thrill of the hunt" rng garbage.
And? Its still content, and a hell of a lot more than pretty much any other MMO out there. Its not the devs faults MMO players consume content at a stupid pace. You're expecting way too much from developers. Its amazing they can even do as much as they do in a 4 month time table.
It is fine, other MMOs get less or nothing at all in same timespan.
While I am one of the players that's progging DSU, during content lulls I just play other things. I played through Elden Ring twice while waiting for DSU and have a pretty big backlog of games. This game doesn't need to be the only thing I do so I don't really care how long I have to wait for content. I normally hang out in PF helping out sprouts do synched min ilevel old EX trials or the Coils when there's nothing else going on in game.
Yeah but there's rewards tied to it. Diadem is boring as heck but thats still content I did to get some of the furnishing, gear, minions and other rewards. The thing is I dont spend the entire day or days grinding like a maniac, I spread my sessions out so that I go do other things when I get bored with it. Again, there's a lot of content this game offers but the fact that people just cherry pick the ones they want and then call out "game has no content" is stupid.
