The pressure to skip cut-scenes!

I fortunately have not come across this as of yet, though it's likely due to the fact that I've only just reached Halatali. I have no desire to skip any cut scenes as I progress through these dungeons and since I'm a tank, I suppose that works out pretty well for me. But even afterwards, I'm sure I will be the one telling everyone to relax and be patient while we wait on other "first timers". Square-Enix puts a lot of effort into their story telling. I'm not going to be pressured to rush through it, nor would I expect it from anyone else.

Or the general populace could stop acting like a bunch of Ritalin addled, ADD inflicted tweens and practice a bit of patience. Whether you like to believe so or not, five minutes is by no means "forever".

Its like the people here only have selective hearing (in this case reading) and ignore every post that says you can re watch any CS at any time you desire, as many times as you want "on your own time" at the inn. ...you know...when you dont have 7 other people wondering if you fell in a toilet and making them stand there forever.

And you also have selective hearing, as some said they wish to watch it LIVE when the actual event is going on.

It worked in another game I played and would work here. No one can type in cutscenes.

SE could greatly reduce the conflict between those that do and don't want to watch cut-scenes by showing everyone the cut-scene until everyone agrees to skip it. That's how it worked in White Knight Chronicles 2 and I never felt pressured to skip the cut-scene my first time on a quest.

Farming story dungeons via the duty finder, complains when someone is doing it for their story and wants to watch the cutscenes, GG.

If you seriously wanted to farm it without interruptions, you wouldn't be farming it via the duty finder.

Well than thats just selfish.....as is yelling at someone to tell them to skip....but both are selfish acts...lets just make that clear.

That's because most of the people here are "I want it my way or no way and you will like it". When ever someone is new to a dungeon and they wanna watch the CS I say fine go ahead but if they act all rude about it and make a huge deal because they're dbags then I'm skipping and not waiting for them. I see lots of people who probably throw a fit if they don't get their way in here seeing as its already happened 7 pages ago.

There is absolutely nothing selfish about watching cutscenes. They are part of the dungeon. They were designed this way and no matter how you try to justify skipping them, you are wrong.

That is a pretty selfish way to look at it "I AM RIGHT YOU ARE WRONG" is pretty much the entire post here.
