Legitimate reasons why many of you do NOT like Gear Swapping

How is that a new idea? It's still gear swapping, which SE already stated they were against.

Removing blinking isn't new. It was suggested already back when SE said no to gear swapping mid combat. Hell, it's been a suggestion even back in FFXI days. SE knows about this.

Gear swapping is a universal idea. It is not native to just FFXI. I can swap my gear in every MMO out there, but they all use different systems.

What we are calling for, is a system that allows you to change gear, mid combat, in a non-invasive, easy manner.

just look at the responds of those people who aggressively promotes/forcing gear swapping to the masses in here

Which is still gear swapping mid-fight, which SE has already said they have absolutely no intention of adding as a game mechanic ever. (Regardless of the game which inspires it.)

lol...the fight already exists.


The amount of MACC, Thunder Attack Potency, Fire Attack Potency, INT etc.. etc.. ISN'T ENOUGH unless you can pull off 5 melds of tier IV with a mixture of all these stats and then some on every single piece of gear from head to toe + the weapon.

If that's the case... I hope you have over 100M+ gil or one of the luckiest players in the game. lol

Why? SE has ALREADY said they are against gear swapping mid combat. They weren't playfully joking when they said this.

They never intended it to be in FFXI and they don't want it to happen again in FFXIV. This is a game design decision that they have made.
