You have two things called hands that operate inputs and higher framerates means the game acts upon those movements and micomovements in a quicker fashion. So while your monitor may not be able to show all of these instantaneously, the effects of them still take place in the game itself. Only two things can limit this. The game itself or the CPU. And since the CPU operates in the 2,000,000,000-5,000,000,000hz range. We're fine there.
If they need to cap the FPS for a bug related reason, they should cap it at the 160-240 range. Or simply fix the bug.
