Kind of impossible to do if I'm bringing an alt up through story and can't afford to shell the gil for a story-skip per alt, isn't it? Also no one is saying how things were was ok. But basically every person in favor of the change has an all or nothing approach where if you don't like this change you must've been ok with how things were before and that's just stupid. Are people not reading the OP that wants the restriction removed for going in undersized or are some really just defending everything? I mean why would you be against a change for undersized partys? People can still watch the cutscenes in them but at least they could also skip them...this would have no single negative consequence for new players..none, nada. Those newer players that do not want to watch all the stuff could at least go through this undersized, those that want to watch cutscenes and are new can just simply queue for it normally and since you cant get any reward from undersized unsynch parties, people would still need to run the normal version if they want that..win win for everyone...

As far as your complaints about time management, there is a few things for that.
1. you are only doing so 5 mins at a time, max 20 times a day, I can post something, then go back to whatever else I was doing. If I did this in a DF I would be kicked.
2. people multi task, if i had time to warrant the current MSQ, premade or otherwise, I can be posting while watching those CS.
I get it you do not value your time, a lot do, however, and it is wrong to force your PoV on them. -

People devalued all the first timers, time, which was their experience in the dungeon and they didn't really have a choice. It was either participate or watch cutscenes. That is disrespecting their time when you say you value yours. You should also value time of others. Saying I am white knighting isn't really an offensive comment, so I don't really see the point of even throwing that out. Honestly I am sick of people complaining about the MSQ roulette when you can move beyond it. The dungeon really isn't that fun which is why it got dropped all the way back to 2.0. You may be sick of hearing people complain of MSQ, and you know what I ma sick of? People trying to make you accept bad changes to the game, flaws in the game.

The only suggestion I agree with is making these solo duties and then yes people can do whatever they want. People complained for over 3 years about having to skip cutscenes, people dropping, getting told "watch in the inn". I didn't see drama in groups but I did see people get locked out of the entire dungeon experience, which is disrespectful to their time.Quote:

Do you really need me to resurrect all of the threads of people saying "Watch them in the inn" or the empathetic people saying "it's SE's fault for making the cutscenes integrated and this is the last time this happens because SE learned their lesson". This is a topic I have followed for a long time and even then I said "it sucks create your own pf" but my first time through the person i ran with said "skip the cutscenes as people don't want to wait".Quote:
