How about they're usable by anyone but only after the player has cleared a tough Stone Sea Sky trial for that respective job? So if you see a BRD in a BRD bikini you know they're probably not the reason the group failed to skip Soar that time (actually, it might be your own if you're staring at their bikini instead of your buttons...)

If it's really hard there could be PFs which specifically demand participants show up in their swimsuits.

Suggestion not entirely serious. We do need more swimsuits in general though if we're headed for the water; now that the old summer ones are in the cash shop and a lot of the craftable ones are in short supply, there's a bit of a shortage on my server.

Not only job based, make some race exclusive swimwear also.

Given the watery theme of the new expansion, having swimsuit-style AF gear would actually be an absolutely fantastic idea. Which reminds me that I ought to start thinking of what to wear for the start of the expansion for the best effect.

I started Heavensward off in the same party outfit I wore back in 2.55, but changed to a heavy coat and even actual long pants before leaving the city for the first time. If we're going into hotter climes this time, I might have to break down and wear a hat with a brim for the occasion; as much as I hate them, I bet Keeper skin is super sensitive to the sun, and I wouldn't want to get a burn.

Couldn't have said it better myself. What I find amusing about this particular argument is it's often women asking for the supposedly "objectifying" outfits. I know, for me, it's less about the sexiness and more variety. I like colours! And our current bikini sets are kinda blah. The fact these are all job inspired makes them especially appealing for a fun little add on. That's just me though. :D

Exactly this ^ The 1st thing that came to mind when I saw this was how pretty they looked.. It stands out and brings some uniqueness (yes I dared to used that word lol) to game that's sorely lacking compared to what's already here (Can only take the same design model and repaint it so many times before it becomes tiring lol).. And agreed that the fact that there job related makes me wanted it that much more!
