Also, I believe I read somewhere that ESO when it was going to require a subscription was going to be on XB1 and allow online play with just Silver access, so if that's true, hopefully it's just a matter of time before we hear something from SE. I know I'll be buying another copy for my wife and I on XB1... :)

I never played Burnout Paradise myself, but everything I Google about it says that cross-platform multiplayer was not allowed and that PS3 users could only play with PS3 users and 360 players could only play with 360 players. Stuff about making sure to buy the version with "whoever your friends list is bigger" for on PS3 or Xbox because you wouldn't be able to play together.

Wasn't it a good lesson for them? Still want to bring FFXIV to the Bone? Hey if you don't want to bring new games to the PS Vita because of business reason then you shouldn't even think about XIV on the Bone. FFXV and KH3 should be cancelled for the Xbone as well. I was deep into their forum which included players from all platforms, and Criterion kept PS3 and 360 versions more or less in lock step with updates. It's possible I am mis-remembering due to talking about various aspects of the games with players from both platforms.Quote:

Edit: It's interesting to note that PS4 and PC players already play together on Rocket league. The lack of a single central player ID/Account prevents some elements of partying up from being cross platform, but the matchmaking is. So, when Xbox One players get there, they'll run into PS4 players as well. -
