So how do you want it to work then?

Uncapped tomes? that will end with everyone being fully geared in a week, or if they make it a big grind, hardcore players will have it in a week, while others take forever.

You have to think about progression too... They can't just have gear accessible right away, making Savage too easy.

You're talking about how long it takes to get the Esoterics gear, but that's the whole point... You're not supposed to get them earlier, cause otherwise you would see everyone beating Savage way before they release the next raid, making even more players frustrated. I know hardcore raiders beat it early, but the majority of players wouldn't like it, and hardcore groups would beat the content even earlier than before.

It's doing the same thing it did for other classes in 2.0.
Limiting progression through weekly limitations to keep players from having nothing to do.

It's just another of very very many speed bumps to keep you paying as per usual.

Esoterics is viewed as nonraid gear, so it makes sense it's obtained through the roulette. However the item to upgrade it is obtained through the raid. Since you don't obtain esoteric through the raid this makes the process of getting the gear pointless, as we obtain raid gear in the process.

There are many other things that should be changed first, and this is one of the last things.

The amount of tomestones is set like that so the team can appropriately release new patches on time. If you had the chance to earn double tomestones a week, you'd complain twice as fast that THERE IS NO CONTENT BOOO SQUARE ENIX FIX IT WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING.

Find something else to do if you are done farming tomestones.

A lot of butthurt in this thread. People complained they wanted an easy mode raid to see the content, and got it including gear. now people are complaining that gear is already obsolete. Guess what, that gear wasn't intended for the progression raiders. I see no reason to complain about it when you knew all along the real gear would be coming from the savage raid.
