If only they had a way to reduce your que times if don't like how long they are on a dps class. I know people will whine "I don't want to play a tank or healer, so they shouldn't make me." Well the good thing is you don't have to, but part of playing a dps class is dealing with the fact that everyone and their mom plays one too. You see it becomes a choice, deal with dps ques, or level up a tank or healer so you don't have to deal with dps ques

Here's the thing though. It's not that the people complaining about atma's want a free weapon. I have been logging my playtime when I start and stop atma farming. I am currently at 76 hours farming and only have two atmas. Two. Atma of the scorpion, and Atma of the ram. I'm in a second coil static and I consider myself to be part of the "hardcore" crowd. Unupgraded liberator is TRASH compared to Gae Bolg Animus for dragoons. And the upgraded one is only slightly better due to weapon damage. I have the time to put into the grind. And I have been. Most of the people arguing for the RNG gated atmas are people that already have atma. And I guarantee none of you have put near as much time as I have into it only to receive 2 atmas. They should not gate the best weapon for a class behind RNG. They should gate it behind content. They should have had a Gerolts Masterwork questline that involved RNG and made the relics take the item that drops from t8 instead. It would be gated behind HARD content that almost NO ONE has completed yet. Why should any player in my position have to suffer taking ludicrous amounts of time away from our raiding just to get a weapon to make sure dps is up to par? I was fine with the atma grind until about hour 40 with only 2 atmas. If they do not change the atma drop rate (The book part is fine where its at) I will be sorely disappointed. Anyone that tells me that I'm wrong here that has atma and didn't spend at least as much time getting it as I have to only be 1/6th the way there is honestly just being a dick.

The weapons dropped from turn 9 are the best currently, they are gated behind Hard content that alomst NO ONE has completed yet.
Or do you not consider this because it is currently too hard for your group, and you want weapons to drop from something that your group can complete, but others may not be able to?
When you are looking at the best weapons in the game, you have to go by ilvl, because that determines the weapon damage and main stats, the only other things that change are secondary stats, and which are better can come down to opinions, so if you look at it, High Allegan are the best, followed by upgraded weathered weapons, Animus weapons tied with upgraded Leviathan weapons. After that it is regular Leviathan weapons, Allegan weapons, and Atma weapons fall somewhere in there depending on how many books you have completed.

We downed t6 yesterday and have got t7 to 40 percent. Please. The t5 weapons aren't as good as tidals or animus.

Once again, you're not allowed to have an opinion if you already have your atma and didn't put 76+ hours into it to get all 12 atmas. And before you backlash at me for saying "you're not allowed" sit there a moment and think about how much time I've put it in comparatively. Was it hard? No. Was it hard to stay awake? Yes. I've put more work into just getting atma than a lot of people have put into getting animus. So please reconsider your almighty holy hammer of justice and righteousness opinion for gated gear that is currently the best "readily" and I say readily very hesitantly, obtainable.

People still raging about Atma drop rates & 1.3k Myths/books on forums and reddit meanwhile some of us are already farming their 2nd Animus or 3rd.

Oh I'm sorry, did it take you 76 hours to get the atma portion of that shiny animus axe you have there? Please. You only feel the way you do because you grinded under 50 hours for all 12. Maybe a bit more. Either way, I'm currently averaging 38 hours per ATMA. And only have 2. I've put an insane amount of time into this for how long the patch has been out to be rewarded 1/20th as much as you have. THAT is not the mark of good design. If that's working as intended then my faith in Yoshi-P has went down a little today.

Upgraded weathered weapons are currently the second best, Animus weapons, Ugraded Leviathan weapons, and Weathered weapons are all tied for third, which secondary stats are better on each vary by class/job. Don't worry about any backlash for you telling me I'm not allowed to have an opinion, since the opinions of "open minded" people like you mean nothing to me.

I did just under 600 fates for my first 12 atmas, didn't keep track of time. Is it fair, maybe not if it hadn't been how it was explained to us before the quest was released, but Yoshi told us that it would take time, and involve low drop rates. To be told it would involve low drop rates, start the quest, then complain about the quest because it has low drop rates just seems a bit like whining to me.
