Questions regarding Stormblood Pre-orders or Collector's Edition

well, i must have done something awful atrocious in a past life. once again... i get the shaft. apparently ONLINE pre-orders don't qualify for any pre-order bonuses that come from Square Enix. and i mean strictly Square Enix.

A GameStop manager laid it out for me... when making a pre-order ONLINE, the customer isn't requested to make any upfront payment. and the way Square Enix distributed their codes this time around... the ONLY way to get the pre-order code is to make an initial payment on said pre-order. so, you must go to the store and make the pre-order. they will charge you a minimum payment of $5. and on the receipt will be the code.

since mine was online, i got no code.


all-in-all, this is the LAST straw with GameStop. i can't stand them... every time you turn around they either mess something up or outright cheat you. and this is almost my last straw with Square Enix. what were they thinking when they implemented this method of delivery for the codes? absurd. *sigh*

Maybe not a pre order question per say but I need to add SB to my PC license. Is the code shipped rather quickly from SE STore if I buy the download version

I've already been charged for the order because I ordered early for EA. Does the SB key get emailed out on the 20th in that case as well?

Got my copy of the PS4 version. Entered the code that came with it and it says it's for Early Access!?! Two codes came with the disk. One is a 'Promotion Code', which came up as EA when entered (nothing updated on Mogstation OR Sony Playstation Purchase history). The other is a code for registering the copy on the main SE site. I *must* be missing something here.

I did a preorder of the digital collector's edition from the SE store, and entered the code that came with that a long time ago. I've been playing early access, and today, the ala mhigan earrings and red mage minion came to me via moogle mail (but not the Syldra mount). However, when I went to register the full game, the email from my order confirmation and my product key on the SE store are the EXACT same code I registered for early acces, and, as such, cannot be redeemed again.

Will I still be able to play Stormblood tomorrow? There's no other code to redeem, and I purchased the digital collector's edition from the SE store, the same way I purchased ARR and HW.

I have already been charged for the order.

I would like to echo SrahaTia's post--I, too, pre-ordered the Digital Collector's Edition of Stormblood from the SE Store back in March, and redeemed my Early Access Code the moment it was e-mailed to me. I still have not received a code for the actual expansion as of yet, though.

Their several FAQ-sites for how and where to redeem a code completely neglect the case of early access already having redeemed their 20 digit code and now don't have any other code.

It's the 19th and my package still hasn't shipped. Come on SE, what's the hold up!?

If I prefer order the physical item do I have to wait until I get the CE to redeem my mount/chicken knife?
