Why? They give you what they said they will give you. The game is working as intended.

Liking or not the game has nothing to do with this. A dev should not apologize for not making the game you want. It is fine you don't like the game, but do not mistake things.

So I actually post quite a few suggestion threads of content that might improve the game. But those posts don't get much interaction. U can fact check that by clicking my profile and looking at my post history. But yea those posts don't get any engagement so It feels like the forums don't really want to pitch ideas or improve the game but honestly just to cry and be heard. I took a break from it for 3 days played wow came back and notice nothing much has changed. Take that for what u will but I see that as verification the devs shouldn't actually listen to the forum and now understand why they don't. Yes it's a shame for the % that posts helpful suggestions. But it's allways drowned out by whinning

If I have something to say I do not hide on some alt to say it. Perhaps that's the best answer I can give.

it is wrong to assume i wanted some appology. in the past i did, way before i even posted this, but i no longer feel that way, i was if anything guaging the general outrage on the foums towards said devs, the replies i got mostly lined up with my own feelings. if anything i was guilty of listening TO much to those loud doomsday voices thinking they were many more than they were

So the whole apology thing was taking into account the same doomsayer that likes to post multiple threads a day? Well, not them specifically, but those agreeing with their rhetoric? If so, then the point flew way over my head and I apologize for that.

But really, I don't think you would see much change here. Forums, specially game forums are holes unhappy people crawls into along with those who are curious or wish to watch the world burn (such as myself), so I highly doubt you'd see much change no matter how long of a break you take. Someone, at some point, will claim that doom it's coming.
