What about Sage though? Their entire identity is literally healing through constant, various DPS skills.

I still think Miasma II being added back to Scholar would help give it something that used to be unique to it as a healer: A weaker (but still separate) dot that had the tradeoff of being an AoE attack. With Miasma being completely taken away from Summoner at this point, it could be renamed to something else since there won't be a Miasma spell now, but it would be nice to see for dungeons or higher-level optimization runs.
I'm aware that Black Mage has Thunder IV and Gunbreaker has Bow Shock, but healers don't have anything like this.
Scholar needs more attack options that make it more unique in comparison to the other healer jobs, and having additional dots seems like one way.
I'm against Button Bloat, but they could give us some of those fancy skills that Replace like RDM has with Verholy and such.
Yeah it wouldn't prevent it form being One Button but it could maybe add some complexity? I have no ideas just suggesting a compromise for those like me who don't want our bars so full.
If anything can be considered bloating on Healers, it is the silly amount of Healing abilities.
It would be great if Squeenix could at least utilize their own design plans for Healers correctly, by removing all shields and damage mitigation from Pure Healers, and all raw Heals, HoTs and potential largesse-like abilities from Shield Healers.
That way, Healers would not only have Room for more dps spells, but also room for abilities/spells that influence positively the remaining healing abilities.
Or even just bake those abilities into the heals, to make them more interesting. Like roll in Esuna in Cure 1 equivalents for Healers like that one person's idea.
Combine AoE heals with Largesse effects? Idk man. Just something more interesting than what we have now. Raw damage heals are just boring. Theres absolutely no finesse to healing in this game. It's just timing, no skill.
im happy with Broil + 2 dots. remove ruin or change it.
It doesn't really make sense for me that Scholar still has any Ruin spells at this point; it should be trying to further distance itself from Summoner, so the fact that it still has Ruin II despite the spell not doing the same thing as Endwalker Summoner and it getting three Scholar traits that only increase the spell's damage (rather than the spell upgrading or being replaced with something that doesn't have Ruin in the name) honestly perplexes me.
Each healer has its small quirk when it comes to DPS or movement.
WHM has the lillies for movement and Bloodlilly for offensive movement (Which is so limited and boring it might warrant a rework. Also potencies definitely need an adjustment.)
SGE has Toxikon, which honestly, alongside Pneuma is the most engaging thing about the class and the dps of healers in general. Optimizing shielding during transition phases for future movement is kinda fun.
AST has uh... Lightspeed which you essentially use along Astrodyne and divination. I guess aligning buffs has its charm.
SCH has Ruin II. And Energy drain. Which you weave during burst phases then use Disspation to get another three stacks.
Honestly the whole aspect of AF is kind of frustrating. Some people think its a cool and interesting "choice" that this job gives you a little dps boost for sacrificing AF to use Energy Drain, but as long as SGE can do more dps and retain its Addersgall for healing without sacrificing any healing oGCD, SCH is going to feel skewed, no matter how good its numbers are.
It would be nice if they changed Ruin II and Energy Drain's names/icons, and it'd really be nice if they got new animations as well. I can only imagine how strange it is for newer players who are leveling both Summoner and Scholar to see that Ruin II and Energy Drain have the same names and icons for both jobs yet function completely differently.
While I do like AF and Energy Drain, I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to it being replaced, but I don't particularly trust that they wouldn't just turn ED into a 45s oGCD, remove AF requirements from it and call it a day. If they came up with something interesting and fun though, it could potentially be a positive change, though I feel like if they remove ED they'd need to rework Dissipation entirely too. They could just replace them with two different DoTs, but I know a lot of people don't like DoTs...
