is this thread some kind of elaborate trolling?

You know all this focus on the grass is going to bite you in the ass when the character models end up needing more work to compensate.

My offer to make a mob out of the grass still stands.

I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that the overall visual quality in ARR is not lowered too much below what we had in v1.0. i agree with you. for example i think that some of the new textures arent that strong like in 1.0.

but on the other side.. well look at gridania 1.0.

was it really an eyecatcher, i mean when it comes to graphics, textures or details?

the graphics greatly improved. but well lets see how limsa and uldah look now.

It's undeniable that Grass in A Realm Reborn looks bad. And I am also sure that Yoshida and his Team know it very well, so in the future they will improve it. What is impressive is that the only bad aspect of Graphic seems to be Grass! It means that they did a very good job! Keep it up!

Meh. I saw a "battle against grass" contest arranged based on the grass in one game. This is not that serious.
