FRU has been cleared without Tanks!

This was back when SMN had pets. Titan could tank ramuh ex without having to worry about doing the orbs to survive the tank buster. You did have to be careful about aggro management though. From this, it was pretty clear that they didn't like that Ramuh EX was cleared without tanks.

So I wouldn't be surprised if they updated FRU to where you couldn't simply cancel out P1's tbs.

how would that affect fights like fru, that need no lb at all?

It's pretty funny that the only way to threaten tanks and ensure other jobs aren't used is to use tank busters those days.
So what happens then if a DPS eats the buster? Just raise them.
Everything has turned so much into DDR at 99% uptime that bosses spend their time idle casting long winded DDR mechanics without even doing a single auto it's pathetic.

Because ff14 classes are balanced? Give me break.
Even pvp which has incredibly varied designs is better balanced than pve where everything is a copy of each other.

Like, congrats to the clear, I get it it is an accomplishment - but did I really need to lose all nuance of aggro management (on the tank side since Shadowbringers) and nuanced combat rotations (MP/Blood interaction, Beast gauge minmaxing) only for other roles to replace the one thing my role was supposed to be focused on? Yes I know this only applies to this fight maybe and just shows how badly this fight is designed, but it is an Ultimate for god's sake... this shouldn't be possible.

They have buffed healing, mitigation and shields to high heaven and this is the result. It's the reason why they feel like they have to turn everything into body checks because if they dont we will just kitchen sink through it.

You are excluded if you don’t play the most powerful class

Oh you mean like PCT, or SCH or AST

Or you get excluded if you play bad classes

Oh you mean like SMN, and MCH, and PLD and MNK many times, or WHM and SGE

Every class in 14 is the same and they still can’t balance them
