You can unsub every other month. That's what I usually do, but yes, it does suck-- but also why do you need a house if you're not going to play for 2-6 months+?

completely different game design

tf2 is 100% multiplayer and based around short 20 minute matches. the repeatability of the game is astronomical

most people do msq once and thats it

In what world is bozja mandatory daily content? You could complete your relic outside of bozja and logging in daily is not required to complete your relic.

The issue is that there's nothing with replay value available at the current endgame. Nothing. Only savage, which is completed in 2 months. If people were consuming all of a varied pool of content quickly that would be a different story, but as it stands now we don't have options PERIOD. If you've played this game at any point during the previous expansion, you'll probably end up with very little to do in the current expansion.

What would you be doing differently in WoW?
Genuine question.
Because I feel like I have way more to do in FFXIV than I ever had in WoW.

Have you tried Treasure Hunts I forgot to mention that?
Maybe put together an event with your FC and friends and do them they're fun and they added new ones in EW.
We have a ton of events in our FC.
Maybe help other groups get Savage clears or run EX farm for the mounts/ totems.
Level other Jobs, do their EW role quests and then the big finale quest you unlock after doing them all.

I just dunno why you'd restrict yourself to '' only EW content '', if you did the same in any other MMO you'd run into the same issue either that or you'd just be doing forced grinds that you'd probably hate.

He wants people to have lives outside of 14 yet..housing requires you to have a sub. Also, im not sure why we cant just have new content. Give us some kind of content to do in the overworld, anything. I pay a sub do do this patch and the content only lasts 2 hours? Beyond ridiculous. And people wonder why the player numbers are declining.

" Well at least x is better than wow blah blah blah." Please for the ladt time stop. Not everything is ff14 vs wow. I didnt even bring up wow and ive hardly even played it. I dont see why you even bring it up WHEN I SAID NOTHING ABOUT IT FFS.To answer your questions, yes, ive done treasure maps i have all the rewards.i have all the ex mounts so far already. Other jobs are horribly made and have been gutted and simplified.

I agree completely with the gear laziness and would like to see new designs more, but what to add to the gap of content itself? If we have the problem of not enough content then what new content or more content do people want to keep us busy?

I myself miss having more dungeons personally. And I think they could do a lot to add to the replayability of the dungeons. Something a step up from normal difficulty maybe. We lack midcore stuff imo.

criterion dungeons (which is supposedly harder dungeons), beast tribe quests, cosmetic farms, etc.. is more than enough to keep people resubbing every major patch also if the content is long lasting and actually worth doing and keeping up with, it'll last years. look at POTD and HOH and the necromancer title scene. even multiple years later alot of people go for the challenge and time consuming aspect of soloing POTD and HOH or going for speed runs with premade groups/solo runs.

Speak for yourself, I've found lots of replay value in running treasure maps with friends and doing hunt trains for achievement mounts. Again this is all subjective guys. If you don't like the current content it's time for a break and to play something else.

THATS THE POINT. we're asking for bozja level content not more ducking roulettes or anything like that. so once again why does it matter if we get bozja level contetn at launch or earlier on in patch cycles like 6.1?

1. It's a half patch. We never get substantial content in a half patch. Starting to think you're just a troll or incredibly new to the game and have no base of information about the patch schedule.
2. You don't need a house if you're not playing for months on end. Sorry.
