Alright, not upsetting. But Ardbert is still an absolute piece of us. As is whoever our Ancient self was. The reason I say this is because I know not everyone wants to have something with him, but it adds a narrative to his feelings for us and all our sundered pieces. How did he feel about any of us he encountered? Arbert included. He sees the color of our soul, and who we are today after so many rejoinings is probably the closest he's gotten to a friend or at least someone familiar in thousands of years. Other ascians withstanding.
In short, it wouldn't hurt. Because it's of the past that cannot change.
Is a really stereotypical villain really. And not even a good one at that.
He was a good anime filler arc villain at best.
It will be hard going back to Zenos but Zenos is in a position to really shake up the Garlemald arc and that could be fun. Also keep an eye on Zenos... Lahabrea might be in there somewhere and not doing very well.
But they started an international incident anyway because their ambassador threatened Doma with a "reckoning" and then attempted a false flag operation to start a war. Who cares about Garlemald accusing Doma of foul play if they are just going to attack Doma over any excuse anyway? Their peace offer was made in bad faith and it was obvious within the first few minutes so it doesn't matter what Garlemald thinks, they'll invade whenever they please, but we don't have to let their rabid ambassador run around Doma committing what is effectively terrorism.
If I could control my WoL, I would have eliminated Asahi the moment he exposed his ruse, it was obvious the consequences would be no different then letting Asahi go.
I knew this will get moved here...
After all of the Koei games I've played I kinda wanna say it is? In any Warriors game I wasn't satisfied until an entire map was practically cleansed of all and any red dots before I fought the last boss. Mind you it would turn a mission that took 12 minutes and extend it to 20 or longer doing that, but boy was that satisfying. So relatable on a digital/gaming level. In reality? God no.
