Disconnection issues are affecting the Japan-based Elemental data centre as well.
However I seem to be able to log straight back in, or after only a short wait, while some other people were ‘locked out’ of the game for maybe half an hour. (Or at least seemed to be, judging from Discord conversations.)
I’m in Australia but most of my FC are in Singapore or near there. So that could add up with the cause being blockages in the ‘delivery channels’ going to some places but not others.
I keep on getting disconnected (90006 error) while Teleporting but this only happens when I'm waiting on "Duty Finder" cue (Roulette: main scene in my case)
When not on Duty Finder cue, I can teleport all day with no problems.
Can anyone try it out?
Do you happen to be cued in Duty Finder when you got disconnected while teleporting?
How about when teleporting not cued?
Yesterday my hubby DC 2 times with 200 plus queues on relog.
I was in a party with him and one other party member dced at the same time.
Oddly I didn't DC using same isp and network gear as my hubby so it has to be a routing issue on se side.
Likely faulty switch dropping ports in failover
I was hoping this would have calmed down from earlier today, but I’ve been logged in for an hour and already disconnected 4 times and lobby error’d twice. All while waiting in queue, so I get to start it over again when I get back in. Yay.
just now half my party on Suzaku DCed again... just when it finally worked >_>
Well, I am not able to download the patch at all, first time in 5 years T-T just keep getting the patch errors
I've had zero problems, on NA Famfrit/whatever it is called.

Regarding Recent Intermittent DDoS Attacks (Oct. 6)
We would like to take this opportunity to inform you of the current situation regarding the DDoS attacks we have been experiencing since Oct. 4, 2018.
Currently, we are intermittently experiencing DDoS attacks on all JP/NA/EU data centers, targeting our game servers and network equipment. We have been implementing and strengthening various defensive measures against this issue, and have thus far been able to avoid any major server outages. However, the attacks are still continuing to take place, as the method of attack is continually changing.
We will continue to monitor and work on recovery from every possible angle to keep the effect on our customers to a minimum.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing, and thank you for your patience and understanding while the issue is being addressed.
I realize that this might be hard to grasp, but....
Companies can lie.
IIRC 2016 was very bad for PSN, Poodlecorp were one of the responsible but there have been many others.
Anyway, no doubt SE have DDoS, I'm actually surprised it doesn't happen more but companies use the DDoS card all the time when there's network issues. Sometimes it's true, sometimes it's not.
I should have said 'SE can lie'.
