Broadened Difficulty Settings For All Dungeons?

Niether option is a good idea as it is.

Why should one player who did it now get stuck with the same gear as one player who did on "easy mode"?

Now if we hade scaling levels of gear to compliment various levels of difficulty, that I would be okay with.

its not about me, its the community, and realizing not every plays the game for the same reasons.

And yes i do like challenge, thats why i want to encounter it at the level i am, and whatever level i want.

For level 50 players that want a challenge can put the difficulty past level 50 and have a HYPER or INSANE mode. it really suites everyone and what they want to do.

There will be, Mobs will drop items at the level. But if you want the intened drops for the dungeon you have to play the dungeon at the level it was intended. like play hard mode ifrit at 50 for the ifrit specific weapons.

I only know of one other player with blind belief that what they think is best IS best. I'm just glad I don't actually have to worry about a stupid system like this being introduced.

No, I just hate really stupid people giving out really stupid plans. Something in me just wants to go off on them. The fact that you want what you want when you want it without working towards the requirements set by the developers of the game annoys me for some unknown reason. Obviously the lore and story of the ifrit primal fight is pointless, I mean everyone just clicks through that stuff anyway even if it does explain why there are two versions of the fight.

No. Too much balancing involved. Content takes longer to release.

Ifrit is hardly a dungeon is it ?

When Dungeon Finder is added to the game being locked out of one dungeon is no problem if another is available.

Balancing isn't that big of an issue as mobs in this game scale based on level, yes even Ifrit.

It's what he said, not me. I've got better ways to level and get ready for content designed for whatever level it was specified for.
