This is interesting, I appreciate the answer. Maybe I'll test this out myself next time I'm bored farming MGP.

In a game that emphasizes strategy, throwing in RNG completely destroys the concept. In chaos i suppose you can build a deck around it, but Random? Theres literally no thought process behind it. You just challenge and hope for the best. If I wanted to get shafted by RNG I'd go work on a relic.
Which is it? Anyone having trouble farming really needs to play better, or the drop rates on rare cards should be buffed?
If you are asking for the drop rate to be buffed it sounds like you have trouble farming them yourself..
I'm guessing some people just have bad memory and don't remember RNG worked in their favor and gave them cards in 5 wins total, or they actually played for hours against that npc themselves.
Yes, it's very useful knowing that Landanel still has Odin in his hand, and that his Odin will flip any side it is placed against.
My apologies if I sound rude. But I highly question your argument, or experience in TT when you claim that chaos or random NPCs can be easily beaten by a deck full of 1 stars; when it's near impossible for them be beaten by such a deck.
For those claiming that RNG opponents are 'easy', please check your statements.
It's may be possible if you have alternate rules to try and use. Rules such as Plus can work in your favor if you play your cards right. Pure RNG comes down to luck though. It is a fact that NPC opponents have very limited card selections and so their decks will ALWAYS be in their favour. Enjoy your 1-star horde versus their 4-5 star massacre. Unless they intentionally make stupid mistakes, it is often impossible to win with such cards.
Sometimes you'll get lucky and end up with multiple 2-stars. At least, you will if you have 40+ cards in your deck. Anyone else is stuck with five 1-star cards, and maybe four 1-stars and a single lucky draw. Often I found myself against Rowena with a deck of 1-stars or maybe a single 2-star if I was 'lucky'.
Yes, I've beaten every NPC in the game. Yes, I've also claimed the majority of cards from said players. So yes, I know they can be truly unfair and unkind. They don't play by our rules, they play by their own. Using multiple 4-star and 5-star cards is impossible for players but are an everyday occurrence for them. Random always works in their favour due to their limited selection.
I'd love to know what your definition of unfair truly is if you don't see an obvious problem with making nigh-unbeatable NPCs you need to win against multiple times to get your cards.
