Even if the OP had posted two female characters together, I would have read it as Final Fantasy and still shared my picture. I also googled FF acronym out of curiosity and found a list of nearly 200... Female/Female was NOT there, but Final Fantasy was the number one hit. If that's how you and fanfiction people think when they see FF, that's fine. But getting bent out of shape and arguing here rather than just admitting you made a mistake is just... I don't know. It's not a big deal. In fact I am actually laughing over the fact that people seem to think it is such a big deal. I have largely moved on from the whole Female/Female thing at this point and don't really care anymore. That said I am still laughing over the fact that people think Final Fantasy is the number 1 use of the FF acronym, when Fanfiction is a much more widely used form of the acronym by now. I mean ff.net is even the acronym for one of the most well known depositories of Fanfiction in the world.Quote:

But I still don't know where you get off believing that even a 'large majority of the world' peruses fanfiction.net. Maybe there are more FF.net users than worldwide Final Fantasy enthusiasts. I don't know, but what people were saying is that generally on a *final fantasy forum* people will read FF as Final Fantasy. That's the first thing I thought, but when you said the OP intended it as Female/Female, I had to do a double-take on her post in case I had posted in error.
