What MMO has no RNG, an how come you are not playing that then? If its so archaic an needs to be abolished, why dont you get to work on a game like that an let us know how it turns out. If the maps had no rng super rare drops, they would be worthless, nobody would do them, an there would be no point for the devs to have ever put them in. 150 maps, sell them and have a guaranteed chance to buy it from the market (unless they added an RNG to the marketboard).
Note again that this isn't a general suggestion, some people still like gambling and well, someone has to put those minions in the marketboard, but in OP's case, having wasted so many maps, I think it's time to consider a second option.
Xeno, don't ruin your gaming experience over this RNG crap, save money and move on, the feeling from getting it yourself wont be much different from getting enough gil to buy it directly and both will wear off right away. At least with these minions we have a choice, unlike primal vanity mounts. -
