dear lord... that is just horrible... I don't mind them being manifestations of raw power and not the exact models of the primals in a smaller form, but at least make it look good. Give it a higher detail etc.. not this quickly drawn together blob of color and call it a egi -.-

I don't care about the look, although I wouldn't be opposed to a retexturing to make them more detailed.

First time you summon ifrit you summon THAT, you beat THAT and then you summon... That, but 1/3 it's size... If the summons looked like the things you fight in the quests I would be perfectly happy with summoner as is.

Well maybe with a few tweaks to the way the class works that I've suggested elsewhere.

Egis aren't pretty right now, but they should NOT be made any larger. I have to turn spell effects down as it is so I don't miss important marks in raids. I can only imagine large summons causing major issues with general visibility. It would be obnoxious.

Only if there's a special event cutscene afterwards where those 3 summoners are hunted down and executed for Primal activity.

Threads are being made because most players want it but SE needs to make an option to turn /egi off or /egi on for the users.

We not asking for the same size in XI asking for quality + size as of now they look way better in final fantasy XI quality wise and stop with the crap of saying it will cover my whole screen.

I don't blame you I feel the same way but I have stopped playing it because they changed the class completely spells like bio bio2 on a summoner O.o they are more of a black mage spells too me, Since they have done this the question is:
Will they nerf the summoner class for dotting side of it or egi side or will they keep it balance, lets say they will balance it but then whats the point on having egi?

SE is right since its a small portion of egi power i think the dotting side wins imo thats my view anyways.

Most will agree that egis need to be better looking. Maybe when ifrit is viable we won't be stuck looking at garuda all of the time.

No bigger though.
